Fellow Zoners - While I fully expect Captain Dak to pilot the SS Dallas Cowboy ship directly into an iceberg once the post season starts, I thought I'd try to keep things positive and give Dak some kudos for his pretty remarkable ability this season to move on from mistakes. He seems to have that Ted Lasso 'Goldfish memory' going for him where he can leave disastrous miscues in the rear view mirror and rally to play well and even lead the team to victory (Philly and Houston being two good examples). Many other QB's would have crumbled after such terrible picks, but Dak has been able to bounce back. It's even more remarkable given the mental aspect of the game isn't exactly Dak's strong suit, but kudos to him for showing such resiliency.

He sure seems to shrug these awful plays off and falls on his sword admitting so....issue is that if he does this against the 9ers there is no going back. He is playing with fire at times, and it won't lead him to long term success when is up against the nasty D they have.

I think dak must have played cornerback in high-school.
Gotta forget that last play.

I’m not a big Dak homer but he is resilient. No matter how big of a bonehead plays he makes or way off target pass he makes he usually rebounds if enough time is left.
I dont think he can get over the jump with all the interceptions he’s be making but I hope his resilience reigns.

Yes...move on from mistakes vs good teams in a playoff football environment. Help don’t hinder this team from winning playoff football games. Then and only then will I buy a full ride ticket on the Mattress Dak Express....

I would say the mental aspect of the game is by far his biggest strength. That is how he is able to be so good without being the most talented (average arm and not fast)

That's the amazing thing about him and I am being serious. He can make boneheaded mistake after boneheaded mistake, but somehow he is able to right the ship and at least play sort of OK, and sometimes pretty well.

I’m not one to say Dak is the root of all our problems and think he can be good enough for us to win in the playoffs and in this particular season I don’t really see any better QBs when it comes to throwing the ball in the NFC playoffs other than of course Brady if TB is in, but I’m tired of hearing “he played well other than …”

We need to stop the turnovers. It’s the single biggest problem with QB play in the NFL and we aren’t going to beat good teams consistently if we turn the ball over the way we have lately.

So what you’re saying is he and the rest of the team pretty much need to be perfect to beat niners
