Dak Positivity Thread - Putting Mistakes Behind Him

I'm all for building up the line. I am saying at some point though you have to settle on a QB, and if you look at the QB's that have made it to super bowls the last 20 years the majority are first round picks.

I have no issue with going qb early. In fact when Dak went down after Tampa and we looked like a lost season I would've supported going qb with a premium pick.

However, you need to have legit blue chip talent to justify it. There are drafts that simply don't produce those guys. Remember the last guy we tried to burn an early pick on was Paxton Lynch.

I remember that one time people were fawning all over him for picking up his cup off the ground after he missed from about 3 feet

Give him credit now he just hands the cup to a trainer instead of risking missing a huge trash can 3 feet away

So he learned from that mistake too

lmao...I remember that, and that was when my friend @Ranching said that when he saw Dak pick that cup up and put it in the trash, he said that was when he knew Dak was going to be a great one at QB. I started laughing thinking WTH? lol

This is going to be our saving grace IMO. While I hate TO’s he isn’t afraid this year to keep slinging it. He’s always gone Mr Conservative and been risk adverse and this is a welcome change actually

Team game but QBs get the glory and criticism- right or wrong.

Brady is known for a beast for Playoffs and SB …. Except the NYG kryptonite , he never faltered in SB , remember the comeback against Atlanta? ( Quinn’s unfortunate tale) Quinn should use that as motivation as finally to vanquish Brady and Buccs if we play them in playoffs.

I fully agree. Who else on Marino's team never won a super bowl?

What I try to spot and object to is hypocrisy and bad logic. People go back and forth depending on what serves their opinion, often without even knowing it.
We do have to have some form of metrology, but it's a fleeting endeavor. It's why I prefer the.... eye test.....more fun and I don't have to try to prove myself right about it.

Dak just needs to train himself to run every time he thinks of making a risky throw or pocket collapsing. If he does that this team will be unmatched offensively. Only time a risky throw might be worth it is if your on 4th and 5+ and time running out.
