What's so remarkable about moving on from the latest mistake? He gets paid either way.
Inconsistency is still his thing. Moments of greatness matched by moments of “ what the hell was that throw about?”…….and yes, I do recognize which ints are his fault and which aren’t but the picks are just one of several issues that still effect him. Decision making, making correct reads, and locking on to one receiver are a few of them
the great news is that a qb doesn’t have to be flawless if the rest of the team can hold up their end of things and I’m not trusting of them doing so as the playoffs begin.
The only thing for me,where dak is concerned and the cowboys in general is playoff success, Another one and done, with THIS team, would be apocalyptic...there is no more excuses for the QB not to put team on his back and win some damn playoff games, and he better not run on the last play of the game as the clock runs out,*******...that play still amazes me.Fellow Zoners - While I fully expect Captain Dak to pilot the SS Dallas Cowboy ship directly into an iceberg once the post season starts, I thought I'd try to keep things positive and give Dak some kudos for his pretty remarkable ability this season to move on from mistakes. He seems to have that Ted Lasso 'Goldfish memory' going for him where he can leave disastrous miscues in the rear view mirror and rally to play well and even lead the team to victory (Philly and Houston being two good examples). Many other QB's would have crumbled after such terrible picks, but Dak has been able to bounce back. It's even more remarkable given the mental aspect of the game isn't exactly Dak's strong suit, but kudos to him for showing such resiliency.
Are you referring to Dak Doughboy, as in Pillsbury, the company known for turnovers?Fellow Zoners - While I fully expect Captain Dak to pilot the SS Dallas Cowboy ship directly into an iceberg once the post season starts, I thought I'd try to keep things positive and give Dak some kudos for his pretty remarkable ability this season to move on from mistakes. THAT is Dak - it's what and who he is. We've already seen his pinnacle. He will throw a pick to lose our next important game. The only thing for me,where dak is concerned and the cowboys in general is playoff success, Another one and done, with THIS team, would be apocalyptic...there is no more excuses for the QB not to put team on his back and win some damn playoff games, and he better not run on the last play of the game as the clock runs out,*******...that play still amazes me.
That play belongs in the hall of Fame if stupid decisions. Sadly that's probably the on hall Dak is getting into.
That sounds like him yes.Are you referring to Dak Doughboy, as in Pillsbury, the company known for turnovers?
I think dak must have played cornerback in high-school.
Gotta forget that last play.
You whine about anything positive towards the Cowboys.I suppose it does depend on your definition of "talent". Amd how many talented positions are on the field together.
Does one player count as "Jerry "ALWAYS" puts talent on the field"? 3? 12?
We sure have had some real stinkers. People USED to complain about Jerry's talent selection. Now people revere it?
well okay then!

Yes sir, they dont pass a lot in HS games.Yes, in high school, you get beat a lot. Often times, because they have you looking for the run a lot more.
The problem with forgetting mistakes is that you're less likely to learn from them.
It’s not because he doesn’t understand the coverage. His name is not Carson WentzHonestly I believe they are telling him to not "overthink" things and just fire away. Dak has a tendency to hold the ball when he doesn't understand the coverage and then when time runs out he makes some horrible throw or takes a sack. So he's not learning from his mistakes, he's just ignoring them and moving on. The net result is better than when he's racked with indecision but those turnovers are going to kill us in the playoffs.

I thought it was a phone bookI've seen Dak tearing postcards apart. With only his hands.
He did not even flinch!

I thought it was a phone book
LolHe does understand coverages.
Problem is it takes him too long: Usually he gets them after reviewing film two days after the game.
I’m 68 years old and I can still Tear a phone book. It’s not that hard you break the binding and then it just pulls apart. That was Chuck Norris.
