Well, that is your opinion of what is happening. In some cases, it may be right but in others it isn't. I don't agree with assuming a person's motives unless you have very strong evidence. Maybe you do for certain posters. That is for you to decide.
My point being your willingness to consider some posts would appear to be clouded by your opinion. Maybe set aside your presumption & look at the content of their message. If you believe it should be ignored, ignore it. If you can refute it, refute it. If you are willing to debate and accept that there may not be agreement in the end, fine.
I think the vast majority of posters will engage in a reasonable discussion. There is a small but vocal group who will argue everything and never acknowledge the validity of anyone else's counter points.
I have never even disliked (much less hate) Dak but I have grown to loathe the never ending cycle of some who overstate his level of play and deny any mistakes on his part. I mean we can debate a throw as being a good throw, bad throw, catchable, uncatchable, QB fault or receiver fault, etc., and we might agree or not. But when a pass is in the ground and folks try to make out like it's the receivers fault, there is no reasonable discussion to be had. (I'm just giving an example here, not saying you said any of this)
