As it stands, Prescott had a very good first week back. He was inside the top six in both EPA/play and completion percentage over expectation (CPOE) and his QBR was just outside the top ten. Prescott also completed 76% of his passes despite leading the league in intended air yards and throwing into tight windows at the second highest rate this week. It’s wise not to overreact to one game, but this certainly looked like the Prescott fans are used to seeing.

They only scored 24 against the worst defense in the NFL and looked very much like the Cooper Rush led offense we saw the previous 5 weeks. Yet Dak elevated the team to a new level.

The lengths we keep going to in order to prop up an average QB.

Why would you be upset that a positive article is written about our QB? Are you an Eagles fan? A troll? You cant be a cowboys fan.

I didnt write the article, but you might want to cry to him. Try reading the article and learn something for once. Lots of fun facts in there. Might be too intense for you. Read slowly if you have to.

LOL Roy couldn't wait for someone to respond so he could as usual insult a poster, and hold himself completely unaccountable for the article he shares to validate his only goal of making all success of the Dallas Cowboys about Dak Prescott.

Any given Sunday a NFL team can out perform their stats and their record. That's where upsets come from, if you didn't know The Lions defense out performed their stats last Sunday. So quit acting like Dak didn't play against a real NFL team because he did.

The lengths some people go to knock down our starting QB....

Now if we can get a WR that can seperate from a DB and complete the catch we will be doing great. we should trade for Amari Cooper, he's the perfect WR for Dak (Sarcasm)

I am not saying elevated. This week he had the opportunity to elevate the team without Elliot. Lmao. Of all weeks and Elliot is hurt. If Moore gets pass happy this could be ugly. Moore now had to keep the formula with back up. And he better keep it balanced..

Nothing wrong with posting an article proving your top 10 QB played well in his first game back from injury. This is a Cowboys fan forum last time I checked.

Not my fault it brings sad little moths/trolls to the flame with anger and hatred.

Why are you so happy to see Zeke fail? Are you an Eagles fan?

A game without having to give carries to the slow and plodding Zeke is a breath of fresh air. If Moore gets pass happy we probably blow them out.

I dont want zeke to fail. I just want him to do his job better. Understand the difference?

I can post stats showing how average at best Zeke is at his job. Can you post stats proving that about Dak? Good luck with that one.

That's all most want from Dak too.

Dak week 1-6 last year had 8.4YPA, .171 EPA per play 2.3% turnover worthy play and a 7.6% completion % over expected.

Fast forward to the back half of the year and he had

6.6 YPA, .079 EPA per play, 3.6% turnover worthy play and a -.6% completion % over expected

Fast foward to this season and we saw him with a horrible game against Tampa, and an up and down game against Detroit. There are your stats.....so what's the difference is me being critical of Dak yet still wanting him to have success vs you being critical of zeke?

Bottom Line: Who honestly didn't expect the score against the NFL's worst team to be a whole lot better. There were some instances where if it wasn't for Detroit shooting themselves in the foot they could've won this game.

Question: Who expected Dallas to be a better team from last year? Do you think that Dallas is a better team, or have they regressed, including the Quarterback?

Not the formula. Unless Pollard can handle 25 or more carries a game.

Here's the problem. You don't seem to understand WHY the QB's and offenses play dipped the 2ndf half of last year. You simply think the QB play was the reason.

There is no fast forward to this season. First game where he got hurt and first game back from injury. ANOTHER example of how you show you dont understand football if you use these as legitimate examples.

LMAO. This board is getting so one side or another.

Either Dak stinks and Elliot is still good. Shown specific stats to prove a point.

Or Elliot stinks and Dak is still good. Shown specific stats to prove a point.

Does any one care about the TEAM or is it ok to believe both can be a part of the rest of the team and be good together.

Could we just root for the TEAM.

LIKE IT OR NOT THE TEAM WORKS BEST WITH DAK AND ELLIOT PLAYING TOGETHER. MUST HAVE A DESCENT O-LINE TO OR NEITHER WOULD BE VERY GOOD..

Jeez.

I'm actually perfectly fine with having a deeper discussion around the why, but you said "I can post stats showing how average at best Zeke is at his job. Can you post stats proving that about Dak? Good luck with that one."

I did what you asked, then you shifted to look at the why. I'm actually more than fine with that as that is the football conversations I love to have. When you post articles boosting Daks performance Sunday and other posters discuss the why you call them trolls and go back to the stats.

You can't have it both ways. And to be honest It's not even that big of a deal, you can be a fan of Dak Prescott all you want. The immediate calling posters trolls and uneducated just because they disagree with you is pretty ridiculous and to be honest just screams insecurity.
