They only scored 24 against the worst defense in the NFL and looked very much like the Cooper Rush led offense we saw the previous 5 weeks. Yet Dak elevated the team to a new level.

The lengths we keep going to in order to prop up an average QB.
We’ve left 14 points on the field. Did you forget about those two drives. The fumble, the field-goal on the 3 yard line The length some people go to put him down. How come you don’t respond to any other posts other than Prescott. I love that he lives in your head

I'm actually perfectly fine with having a deeper discussion around the why, but you said "I can post stats showing how average at best Zeke is at his job. Can you post stats proving that about Dak? Good luck with that one."

I did what you asked, then you shifted to look at the why. I'm actually more than fine with that as that is the football conversations I love to have. When you post articles boosting Daks performance Sunday and other posters discuss the why you call them trolls and go back to the stats.

You can't have it both ways. And to be honest It's not even that big of a deal, you can be a fan of Dak Prescott all you want. The immediate calling posters trolls and uneducated just because they disagree with you is pretty ridiculous and to be honest just screams insecurity.

You didn’t post anything legit. You made lame examples and false claims. Typical troll lies and cherry picking. There’s 6 years of stats on dak.

i would hope our 40 million dollar franchise QB in his 7th year as a starter, could take this team to a higher level than an undrafted, journeyman backup QB starting his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th starts of his career.

I made 0 false claims. I used many of the same stats you mentioned (EPA per play, CPOE) just over a longer period of time. You posted an article with stats about week 7, I mentioned stats for all of last season.

Dak has had a ton of accomplishments in his career. Russell Wilson has too, and been to super bowls, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he has played like garbage in 2022. We can talk about the historic data on dak, but that’s a different conversation. The recent data is the more relevant data. Last year we saw an MVP candidate dak and we saw a very inconsistent version of dak. We can discuss they why behind that all day, but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that he needs to perform better. Even the lions game I have no problem saying dak was fine….that doesn’t mean he can’t play better though.

Did I just read a post earlier today from BobHaze? suggesting a better way to enjoy this forum and treat others with respect, avoid using hater/ troll and stop trying to “educate” other posters with your brilliance? Maybe it was a dream

We are all supposed to be better posters and stop trolling.

Bruh, Detroit fumbled at the 1 yard line about to go up 13-10. The Cowboys were also gifted with Amon St. Brown being out with the new BS concussion rules.

You didn’t watch the game did you. Brown fumbled at the 4 yard line after a nice pass. But we all know your agenda here. Crap on Dak every chance you get.

It’s a TEAM GAME. Daks play dips without Elliot and the running game.

I post this and someone will come up with a good game Pollard had when Elliot was hurt.

But then someone will show a play during that good Pollard game when Pollard missed a blitz pick up and Dak was hit.

Brown was lucky he was not hurt on the fumble. He got flipped. Elliot is injured and now Dak in his second game back needs to step up even more.

Looked like bears are running pretty good. The qb had 80 yards himself. Gonna need our Defense. If they can’t get stops then we need points.

If Moore gets pass stupid then it’s a close game. Heard MM walked over and said something very loudly to Moore on one of our goal line TDs. And he ran it. Moore don’t really like to run the ball.

Gonna be a interesting game. Moore could put Dak into a bad spot. But Dak can call a balanced game. He has audibles.

As it stands, Prescott had a very good first week back. He was inside the top six in both EPA/play and completion percentage over expectation (CPOE) and his QBR was just outside the top ten. Prescott also completed 76% of his passes despite leading the league in intended air yards and throwing into tight windows at the second highest rate this week. It’s wise not to overreact to one game, but this certainly looked like the Prescott fans are used to seeing.

Not that I care, but this^ is trolling. I wasn't going to get baited into posting, but with so many posters using the word "troll" so loosely as of late, I thought I should point out a post meant for trolling.
I think he meant it in fun, but you can't say this thread wasn't titled and written to provoke a response.
Because if Sunday's game vs the Lions is Prescott "taking the Cowboys to a new level" it's a level we don't want to see when the Cowboys play better teams. Had the refs not taken a touchdown away from Detroit in the fourth quarter (I saw the replay and I think it was a touchdown), I'm not sure the Cowboys win that game.
Against a contender, I don't think we win that game - as we've also seen that many times in the past.

Please no embellishments.....Dak doing some average work against the worst defense in the league and actually the defense is what will raise this team to a new level... Dak needs to just drive the freaking bus and not make stupid throws or fumbles. The defense will carry this team especially in the post season. If we begin to rely on Dak, we will be in for a rude awakening.
