Why would you be upset that a positive article is written about our QB? Are you an Eagles fan? A troll? You cant be a cowboys fan.

I didnt write the article, but you might want to cry to him. Try reading the article and learn something for once. Lots of fun facts in there. Might be too intense for you. Read slowly if you have to.

the guy was right and yes we can be cowboy fans and be fair prescott did not play great vs the lions the article is bs.

If you've played quarterback you should recognize the problem when Dak shuts down against tough teams and then pads his stats against loose defenses when the game is already lost. You should recognize errant throws to wide open receivers when the game is too big for him.
It's not like it hasn't happened a lot.
Yes, Ive played enough quarterback to know that the quarterback has to lead by being accurate and not choking when the tensions ride high.
Anybody can throw a football and they can even throw it a long way if they work at it.
But the mental part of the game is most important, and Dak doesn't have that.
Bullshiet...you never played QB.....on the Ranch board you claimed you played RB.

The biggest liar on this board.

Also the most clueless one. Of everything you said above you can't point to a single game or single example given your drunkard past you are passed out by middle of first quarter

Go back to cleaning jail houses

Like 80% completion percentage and a win.

We want to be a running team, we don't want dak throwing 400 yards and 3 tds every week.

As it stands, Prescott had a very good first week back. He was inside the top six in both EPA/play and completion percentage over expectation (CPOE) and his QBR was just outside the top ten. Prescott also completed 76% of his passes despite leading the league in intended air yards and throwing into tight windows at the second highest rate this week. It’s wise not to overreact to one game, but this certainly looked like the Prescott fans are used to seeing.

I have played it before. Dak does have the mental game. Throwing a football and playing QB is two different things. Dak has one of the highest completion percentages in the NFL in 2021. And since you've played QB, you should know that throwing to a receiver in an area that ONLY he can catch is the goal of a QB. Again....last year, he was top 10 in completions...I believe 4th. And in the top 10 in ypa. Top 10 in the fewest ints. To go along with 37 tds. Ummm....I don't know that you do that without the mental part. I don't know that you do that without being accurate. EVERY single QB overthrows wide open receivers in games period! Doesn't matter if they are big or not. You claim to have played QB....you should know this.
Completion percentage?

You mean he plays it safe and doesn't take ANY chances for interceptions?

I was asking for a friend. Me personally...I';m no expert like you.... I don;t know what "competition percentages" do for winning a football game.

Complete it to the right receiver for the best yardage possible.

I am not saying dak does or does not do that.

But simply spouting completion percentage doesn't make an elite QB. Or even a winning one.

"LOL".

First of all, it takes an entire team to win. Not just A QB.... ask Dan Marino. Completion %, ypa, touchdown to int are the stats. All of those are a result of reading defenses. And there is the intangible..... leadership. The fundamentals.... footwork, hips for torque, legs, release point...ect. Dak is not perfect in all of those. But he's good in all of those....lol

Dak barely came back...and from a broken bone in his throwing hand. Why don't you give him several games to get back in the groove and connect with these receivers? Dak actually played well and managed the offense well last weekend. Have a little patience and wait and see if Dak can help elevate this current group of receivers, albeit limited.
I am going to give him a chance...as I've related in other posts. By the time they get to GBay it's going to be time to ball. That's two live games and a bye to get himself sorted. I'm of the opinion that Dallas should get that game even though it's at Lambeau. If not then they just might not be the team we think they are. As such, I expect them to be 7 - 2 after Green Bay.

So, do you expect Dak to start lighting it up with the pass? Or would you prefer he remain a good game manager?

I would prefer more points in the first half. Good things happen when you force teams to keep up. Sustain drives, which gives the defense a rest. 30 attempts plus a good running game and defense should go far. It's when you are upwards of 40+ where you can get into trouble.

So you prefer Dak remain a limited passer and instead just a game manager?
