It was your example, not mine. It's also an unfair observation. Dallas does have talent that a guy like Rodgers could elevate. He's proven he can do more with less throughout his career. Dak has not. It's easy to point to offensive output numbers, but Dak has NEVER put up consistently good numbers without a good, proven number 1 receiver.
This season will be very telling regarding the abilities of QB1. I hope he lights up the scoreboard, but the only sample size we have of Dak with "inferior" talent was right after Dez left and before Coop came in, week 1 of this season, and last week. The results have left much to be desired, and many around here can't seem to grasp this concept. Many even spent the entire off-season defending this talent pool at receiver, but have backtracked and labeled them inferior after observing the struggles in the passing game.
Which one is it? Do the receivers suck, or are the quarterbacks having a tough time elevating what's around them? There's no positive answer either way. Hope it gets fixed, but there's no sense in defending anyone with the money and resources that have been dumped into that passing game until it does.
