Well, let me just say this, if we are talking about GOAT at the position of QB in Dallas, that discussion starts with Roger Staubach in my book. Secondly, if you are going to set your sites on Roger, you better pack an All Day Lunch cause you are going to need it.
If you want to unseat that guy, you better be more then just a player that was good enough to be in the discussion as the greatest QB in the history of the game. You better be be prepared to go well beyond that.
You better be a Vet, you better be a Heisman Trophy winner, you better lead a life that is worthy of being the Man of the Year, you better be more then just a highly successful business man, you better be active in your community and active with charities to the point that it allows you to be recognized as worthy of the Medal of Freedom, the highest individual award this country can give to any private citizen for meritorious contributions to the Nation.
You better understand that simply being among the very best ever at the position of QB is just the start. You better be all that an more after Football ends if you want to be in the running as the GOAT in Dallas.
Hey, I hope Dak does have his sites set on that very lofty goal and I hope he does get to a point where we can have that kind of discussion around him but you ain't gonna get there by hanging in the Bars with the Fellas or messing with the honeys on the down low. I mean, I have nothing against any player who wants to enjoy a little life in that manner, they are young men, I get it. But, if you want the title, you better understand that you gotta be much, much better then that.
It's a lifetime of honorable commitment. That's where you gotta start, if you wanna take the title.
