Wentz is Romo but way better. Does all the things Romo does but at a messiah like level. He can thrive in the pocket, make plays with his feet, improvise when a play breaks down, tough, intelligent, leader. The entire spectrum of desired QB skills, he invented them.

Prescott is Colin Kaepernick. If you don't want to call him Quincy call him Colin. A guy with some raw ability but a successful pro QB he is not. These players are coach killers. Can't win with them.

Prescott is the guy people on here are talking themselves into putting our future hopes on. Jerry has done a real number on our fans these last 2 decades. I'd rather take a flier on Vernon Adams with one of our 6ths than this kid.

If you have an opportunity to get the best player at the position, then go get him. Don't settle for a player who played in an offense in college that does nothing to ready him for the NFL, and then expect that Wade freaking Wilson will polish that rock into a gem.

They may as well pass on the pick of they think Dak Prescott will be the standard bearer for the Cowboys post-Romo.

Because you can't comprehend?

I think I comprehend exactly why he reminds you of Q. I mean they are completely different players. Dak is more accurate and far more of a running QB. Dak is a clear leader who handles himself very professionally - DUI aside. None of these characteristics even sniffed Q.

Gee. Completely different players.

Drafting someone on Day three to develop as a backup isn't exactly putting our future hopes on a player. He's a good 2nd tier guy. I'd love for him to be there in round 4

You don't draft backups you draft starters and Dak isn't going to be an NFL caliber starting QB

Prescott? I don't even have him as a top 100 player. He's being talked about as a 2nd-3rd Rd guy which is day 2. For us thats a top 67 pick unless we trade down in the 3rd. A top 67 pick should not be taken with thoughts of developing them to be a b/u.

Interesting, I didn't say Prescott's skills would compare to Quincy Carter. Since you can comprehend, I made a general statement that I feel this would be another Quincy Carter pick. Meaning a wasted pick on a player who I feel would not give Dallas a chance to succeed and probably passing on the top two QBs in the first round would be detrimental to this team.

That's why I asked can you comprehend?

Prescott, I feel (meaning opinion), would do nothing for this team due to the fact that he has no upside as a QB.

I'd rather take a shot at developing Driskel, Hogan or Hackenburg than messing around with Prescott. We've built this O-line for a pocket passer so why the heck are we looking for a mobile passer? That's what teams with low regard for O-line talent are looking for (i.e. teams like Seattle...but they found 'their' QB in Wilson.....who Prescott can't measure up to). This team needs a passer, not a "broken play, back-yard lobber".

I guess we should just go ahead an pencil him in at the 3rd round.

wouldn't mind 7th rounder and making him sit for a few years...or just draft a QB that isn't silly enough to get a DUI before they even get in the league...man that boy just burned me up with that...Mistakes happen..but go be someone else's mistake.

I would take Prescott over Driskel - that's how little I think of Driskel. He's a complete stiff.

Hackenberg I would worry about him being too focused on the pass rush after his time at Penn State, and his declining accuracy would worry me a lot. Hogan is a solid guy, but he's near maxed out talent wise, and his mechanics aren't the best.

Gee. First reference. Quincy Carter. A guy who shares like but an irrelevant physical trait.

Perhaps you might think before you spew?

Gee, I wonder why?

Because he is a SEC QB that doesn't have the talent to play in the NFL. I know you probably have another thought in the subject. Just say what it is. I live in Mississippi and have more knowledge of DSk thsn most due to the constant reports in the local media, your thoughts would be welcomed.

Q had the talent. He didn't have the mental resolve. If anything, Dak has the brain but perhaps less physical talent. Dak has maximized his talent and performed far better than Q did in college. So really, dumb comparison
