The funniest part of this thread is people don't understand what Quaterback EPA is and just say Dak bad  Here let me help some of you guys out:

a statistic that measures how well a quarterback performs on a play-by-play basis. It's calculated by subtracting the expected points at the beginning of a play from the expected points at the end. EPA is adjusted for the difficulty of each play, such as the type and depth of a pass, and whether the quarterback was pressured.
I've always had a problem reading this type of graph. I see Mahomes, Rodgers & Stafford listed further to the right between 0.20 & 0.30 (along with Foley & Kaapernick). I'm assuming the higher the QB epa number means the better the QB. Then I see Flacco & Lamar near the top of the graph between the -0.05 & 0.00. I'm assuming the top of the graph & the lower defensive epa numbers is for the better defenses.

Or should I just ignore these types of graphs?

Lets add it to the Dak Excuses.

So that's why Dak had the ball three times (in 4thQ) across the two SF play-off games and failed to convert. At some point the onus is on him, he had his chances and failed.
Explain those pick-6s. Break them down. Let's see if they truly are Dak's fault.
It's not about 'fault' as much as it's total lack of composure..... when the anxiety hits he turns into Mr Hyde. As soon as we go behind he visibly struggles.

So the receivers had no fault whatsoever? The sloppy routes they ran (which Michael Irvin and others called out) played no roll on those bad pass plays which folks like you so quickly blame Dak for?

Imagine having a real defense and not whatever we trot out there every playoffs
Imagine having a general manager that actually realizes the importance of stopping the run and builds a powerful defensive line.
Imagine if you will that same general manager understanding The importance of being able to run the ball in the playoffs and building the trenches on the other side of the ball and when you have a great running back that wants to come to your team in free agency like Derrick Henry you add him in.

How about a general manager that can look at the current state of football and see that the eagles and the commanders in our division are in the top of the league at running the ball along with the lions Ravens Packers bills all playoff teams that run the ball very well.
We are at the bottom of the league and suck.
We suck because of Jerry and the fact he doesn't know how to assemble a team in today's NFL

You live in fantasy land. Watch his play on the field. That’s the only stat that’s required to judge his play the last 9 years. He’s a backup that fell into the perfect situation with a team who hasn’t invested in the QB position in 31 years.

My biggest problem is, the last two he has sucked and given us no chance. He lost the game on the road to the 49ers when the Defense certainly played well enough to win and he didn't do great against them in the home game. He was a big part of the problem against GB but the defense was absolutely garbage. The whole team was.

Now he's OLD and has broken down legs. What are we going to do, give him another half decade of blowing it come playoff time? Even if the defense is stellar? He's done it before. What makes you think he won't again?
I don't think Philly or Washington will allow Dallas to make it to the playoffs for awhile.

So no fault to Dak then, nor the fact that it's a massive co-incidence that the INT's happen when we're behind??
Sloppy routes and inaccurate pass = Neither are good enough. Why does Dak's ability fall off a cliff when we're behind on the scoreboard??

The haters are already out spewing their poison.
I was gonna post this an hour ago. But the same Dak haters just keep pouncing on perfectly reasonable nuggets of facts.

The defense might be good in the regular season but they are AWFUL in the playoffs.
This is the best time of year for you last remaining EBBD diehards.

Welcome to week 1 of Excuse Season. I just saw a pretty colored graphic that has Prescott already a frontrunner for MVP of this year's Excuse Season.

Oh, and, Welcome back. lol

I'm assuming the higher the QB epa number means the better the QB.
It's a massively over-generalized compilation , with a subjective element, and is entirely removed from any real context making it pretty much useless for anything other than numbskulls to use to validate their existence on an internet forum.

Or should I just ignore these types of graphs?
Bingo.

Is there a stat for...'Going behind and Deer in headlight stare'.

Daks performance:
Bucc play-off vrs
49er(×2) and GB
Doesn't take a graph to work out that Dak struggles when we're behind (indeed there's an irony that Dak can compose himself when the games totally lost and he and the opposition loosen up).

Stopped reading at Dak and "a statistic". More excuses. Guys go dumpster diving for reasons Dak gives the 1000 yard stare in each divisional playoff game. 8 years of the same schtick. It's pathetic.

I have no problem with any NFL player getting paid all they can. I also have no problem with the criticism that comes with it when warranted. The defense was A+ in the second matchup with the 49ers and all Dak and the offense could muster is 12 points.

Winning and losing is never on one individual, or even one side of the football. Dak has had good playoff performances where the defense let us down and we have also had good enough defensive performances where the offense has let us down.

The real issue in all this is that we keep doing for the run it back with a few small tweaks approach when in reality this team needs either a mini blow up/rebuild or a front office actually willing to spend serious money to get this team on a level with the better teams in the league. Jerry hid behind 12 wins the last few years to avoid upgrading the roster while allowing Washington to catch up and Philly has started running laps around us.
