Here's another stat. Of the 8 teams left in the playoffs, 7 of those 8 teams will have quarterbacks drafted in the first round plus Hurts who was drafted in the second round...

Maybe the Cowboys should draft a QB in the first round...just sayin'

The funniest part of this thread is people don't understand what Quaterback EPA is and just say Dak bad Here let me help some of you guys out:

a statistic that measures how well a quarterback performs on a play-by-play basis. It's calculated by subtracting the expected points at the beginning of a play from the expected points at the end. EPA is adjusted for the difficulty of each play, such as the type and depth of a pass, and whether the quarterback was pressured.

Here's the problem. Keyword: Expected. That term is far too subjective.

I'm puzzled as to how the defense is to blame for Mr. Prescott's abysmal play in the post season? Is this guy responsible for anything? Even his own crappy play is now being blamed on the defense. Is the defense elite? No. Has the offense virtually disappeared through large portions of a game? Yes. Happens in the regular season and the post season. Both these things can be true.

I thought we already came to the conclusion on this? If both the defense and offense fail what is the solution? If your solution is to give said bad qb more weapons instead of create an elite defense then you are confused.

You cannot keep putting the defense out to hang regardless of how strong a defense you have eventually scoring with happen and the offense will continue to falter. Meanwhile morons such as yourself will continue this march towards the perfect defense that gives up no points and does all the scoring at the same time.

My solution is fixing both sides of the ball to achieve balance. An offense that doesn't go missing for half the bloody game and a defense that doesn't get gutted every time you face an opponent with a half way decent running game.
