News: Dak Prescott has hit his ceiling as a quarterback

This was a breakout game for Cooper. That defines directions now, not before...we shall soon see the route taken from now, forward.
Not my point. I swear fans won't be happy until Prescott throws for 500 yards in a game, all 50 yards bombs. Even then they're cry about something.

*(laughing to self) I'd be content with an occasional 300+ game thrown into the mix.:)

Was the same thing when Romo was QB. Now Romo is a hero that was the GOAT.

LOL....

Of the 6 QBs who competed on Thanksgiving Day. Dak was the 2nd best.
He outperformed 2 QBs drafted 1st overall.

Any idiot who thinks Dak has peaked when he in fact had already been markedly better the last 3 weeks with Cooper is too stupid to pay attention to.

Exactly zero QBs who play 5+ years peak in year 3 in the NFL. That is illogical and stupid on every level.
Vet franchise QBs spend a decade perfecting reading defenses and making adjustments.

Dude, he missed it by 12 yards.

12 yards would make you happy?

One play by Gallup and he woulda had it.

Overcritical much?

How many yards did he have yesterday. 275?
Total is strong but only under a hundred yards were not thrown to Cooper. No, I don't yet feel strong sentiments on passing yardage. If Coooper puts together some 100+ games, then I'll stand to and pay much closer attention to throwing skills.

Read more than a single quote you think you can stand high ground upon. I've defined my observation, and no, Dak Prescott, since his rookie season, does not yet qualify for carrying a team on his own shoulders. He can be part of a team, but much of his game still gets Dallas into trouble. If one must always fast forward to a season ending conclusion...ACE.

The explanation for your reason is already posted above.

A lot of qb that get 300+ yards is because of a few big yac plays. Hitting a receiver on the run. I like to see him get a lot of yards with 20+ yard passes but love the yac, that usually includes a score.

No argument at all...

He had a pretty sweet game winning drive last week. He has had 12 of them in his 2 1/2 year career so far. With that being said I still am on the fence as far as trusting him to carry the team consistently.

What does it matter? Wins matter. I like not having to rely on one player to pass 40 times a game, build up gawdy stats and not go anywhere.

That site hasn’t been relevant for years. They want your Black Friday clicks.

This is merely good football by Prescott. Not his ceiling. It’s silly of them to declare it his ceiling if he’s had a season like 2016.

He’s a young QB developing. If Eli Manning can win two Super Bowls; so can prescott. Landry Hat won’t get my clicks today or ever. They’re bleacher report without a team stream app lol
..well said, mate. Some of these articles lack logical mental substance. Like written by a 14 yr old, with 14 yr old mentality.

:) What is the current record and last season's total?

One quote is all it took to illustrate your stance.

I merely pointed out how silly that sounded, especially in light of the fact that there were some drops which clearly would've hit your "magic" number of "300+"

So, I also pointed out how — given your declaration of your contentment of Dak standards — you should, in fact, be "content."

So, take your technicality and move on down the road of discontent I guess.

My only comment to you now, Mr. 'oh so right high grounds,'...is when one stands on an entrance island at a gate entrance, wear steel toed boots instead of a preppie's sandals. It's really safer...good bye. You have a long history if just stereotype with little discussive exchange. You won't play fair...tough guy. Your words, not mine.. as I have fully explained context. You ignore that point and are here ignored, unless you really want an argument, stud!

You have just derailed your own thread, well done.
