Common now let's not Hate.........

I bet if we give Dak another 15 years he might make it to a championship game.
Superbowl would need a miracle like if the other playoff teams all came down with Covid and needed to be hospitalized. :muttley:

ALMOST found one of the other 3. Erik Kramer had 2 divisional round exits. Close but no cigar… the hunt goes on

Edit: Lamar Jackson had 2 as well! Dang
This is a misleading stat because at least one of the QB’s this era who has lost this many Divisional Round playoff games has also won some.

How do you mean? It’s 5 QBs who’ve made the divisional round 3+ times while never advancing in the SB era

Moon
Prescott
Jones
Romo
????

Sorry I missed that . I thought it was just those who had lost 3 Divisional Round games .

Might have been Dalton with Bengals. He never won a playoff game losing like 6 or 7 straight. Some of those they won division,

Yeah, that’s the poignancy to the article. How defeating it is that Dak has made it to that point so many times but never advance; and how bizarrely coincidental that the last guy to do the rare feat was his predecessor

So our last two QBs have gone winless in divisional round games. You have to ask yourselves is it the QBs or the teams we’ve had? I say it’s more the teams than the QBs. Neither Romo or Dak had a complete team around them. We’ve always had a deficiency that could be exploited in the playoffs, which has put the games on the shoulders of our QBs. Romo wasn’t good enough to carry us in a playoff game and neither is Dak.

This is actually starting to bother me…

Who are the other 3? Rivers made an AFCCG, Bledsoe made a SB, Cunningham made an NFCCG with Minnesota, Andy Dalton? Did he make 3 divisional rounds? Maybe he had a lot of byes.
The statement says winless in 3 or more divisional games. Simply going by that, Peyton Manning would be one of them.

Have not really thought about it.
How about Randall Cunningham?

And not win one

“…he's become one of five QBs in the Super Bowl era to start three or more divisional tilts and go winless.”

Got it. Personally I think it’s more of a reflection on our franchise than either QB.

The fact it’s both QB’s would suggest it’s more than just about our QB’s.

This current futility mark this era of most Divisional Rounds without a Championship appearance is black mark on our ownership.
