Understood. That still doesn't mean what you said is true. Romo actually started 2 games (2011 & 2013) at the end of each season with the playoffs on the line which he choked away. It's indisputable. I don't understand how you could so willingly be so untruthful about that?
The stat was that Dallas was alive for a playoff berth when the game began. They had something to play for. It had nothing to do with the out come of the game. It's not misleading at all.

Why do you mention Pro Bowls. Those are worthless. Now if you say AP 1st team, then you are talking.

I said Dallas wasn't considered a contender because they didn't have a QB. Parcells was using retreads like Testerverde and Bledsoe because he trusted them and not Romo. If Parcells wasn't set in his ways and trusted the younger player Romo would have gotten a shot at the beginning of the year and not six games in.

Parcells at that point in his career was a shell of the coach he once was. That's why it was his last year of coaching.
Pro Bowlers are an example of a player playing good enough that particular season to help his team compared to other players league-wide. All Pros are a sign of the best 2 players at each position selected by players who play those positions league-wide. You'd better believe Pro Bowlers matter just as much as All Pros.

This is what you said...

"Interesting Romo fact. He never started a game in his career where Dallas was eliminated."

I proved you wrong.

Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Just like the NBA all star game.

AP is selected by the writers. The AP has always been the standard.

I typed that wrong. It should have read playoff contention.

But in my other postings I typed it right. You just chose to ignore those post.

I love how you try so hard to prove you are right. You get an atta boy. Does that makes you feel better?

All Pro is a better indicator the best players in the league but Pro Bowl is typically good players. You didn’t see a Jeff Heath make a Pro Bowl.

Amazing numbers for Romo who only played 7 full seasons. 2007,08, 09, 11,12,13,14

Prescott should only need 3 more seasons to break it

I didn't ignore anything. You're a Romo-loving/Dak-hater who makes up bunk to justify your hatred.
The only hatred is coming from you.

I don't hate any player. Because I root for the team, not the players.

In 20 years, if I'm still alive, none of the players, coaches, and ownership that is here today will all be gone. But I will still root for Dallas.

You and the other Prescott supporters remind me of white blood cells. The second there is a perceived mention of Prescott that you don't like you swarm in to eradicate the foreign invader. It's comical to watch you guys go back and forth with the same stupid talking points over and over again adinfinitum. And then you pat yourself on the back waiting for the next time someone crosses a tee the wrong way.

You’re insulting Dak fans but you literally did exactly what you claim they do in defense of Romo.

Dak Prescott is roughly at 25k (24,943) career passing yards for the Dallas Cowboys after 7 seasons (6 full seasons of play; 1 season loss total due to injuries).

Tony Romo is the Dallas Cowboys all-time passing leader with 34,183 passing yards after 11 seasons (9 full seasons of play; 2 seasons lost due to injuries).

If Dak stays healthy and gets a contract extension, he would only need to average a very doable and well balanced 3,200 passing yards the next 3 seasons to accumulate enough passing yards to break Romo's franchise passing yards total record by about 300 yards.

Will Dak break Romo's career franchise passing record and become the Dallas Cowboys career leader in passing yards?

Theres a group of people here who just have to trash any kind of Dak talk. It just gets really old! Yes Im not happy w/o a SB since 96 too but we are building something here with the current players and coaches including Dak capable of winning one. Lets see how it plays out this Fall. Stop the *****ing for a few months and be fans instead of touch holes.

Look who's talking? You do exactly what you blame others. There is no Dak thread you don't rush to spew your hatred. Do us all a favor, go follow another team until Dak is no longer here.

All Pro is top ~5%. Pro bowl is top ~25% once you consider people that opt out.

Pro bowl is not as prestigious by far but people act like it doesn't matter which is flat wrong.

Once again, it's not seasons, but games started.

Romo started 127, Prescott has started 97.

Prescott needs 9240 yards in the next 30 games to equal Romo. That is a 308 yards a game average. Prescott is currently averaging 257 for his career.
How dare you!
