That is my fear, and why I think the sooner Garrett is gone the better. Garrett has killed a lot of careers (and I think I listed them a while ago) of players that were here and great players. This is the most talented roster that he's ever had. He's had a longer tenure than most coaches have. He's in a contract year. If Garrett can't pull it off now, I don't think he ever will. I think he might be better in a place like Miami or Cincinnati. He's a good mind, and he's good at getting teams at least relevant. He's great at keeping the players from giving up when the going is rough.
However, do i think he can get a team over the hump to deep playoff runs? No. But, a team like Miami or Cincinnati would probably be pleased to have someone like him to return them to relevance. I think he'd actually fit well in Cincy with Dalton.
