Daks demeanor has changed.

In his interviews you can tell he's tired of the Cowboys narrative. I've seen him get irritated a couple times now. He has to know the only move is to change the narrative.

If you don't want to hear the "same old Cowboys" talk you have to advance.

I'm 100% in support of his frustration. I'd rather see him be real then give scripted answers. I'm glad he feels disrespected too. Use that chip.

The cards ran out the clock. LOL

So thats flipping it to the defense? Your so angry you cant think straight.
Yea, we talking about the offense. Why do they get the excuse of only scoring 16 points? See the problem is y'all get too attached to players, just like Dak haters, you're on the opposite side of the spectrum. I'm cut throat like that ya heard meh playboi?!?! Lol

That type of thinking is what gets these teams in bad contracts. His best season was 15 TD passes? Lol Dobbs or any rookie QB could've got that for them. Their success last year was more due to their running game, QB has been their weakness since Eli retired
The success of a QB isn’t all about just throwing TDs. Tampa released Jameis Winston a few years ago after 33 TD passes because of repeated turnovers. Jones had only 15 TD passes last season, but he had over 700 rushing yards with 7 rushing TDs, plus he only had 5 INT’s. He finished the season with a 92.5 passer rating. He had career bests in practically everything but TD passes. He played very efficient last season and the Giants had no choice but to re-sign him. As for Joshua Dobbs, he was released by Tennessee after last season. They weren’t going to move on from Jones for a journeyman like Dobbs. You’re not looking to win games if you’re doing that. If Tennessee thought Dobbs was anything great, they would have kept him and probably not used a high second round pick on a QB.

Dobbs did nothing last season with Tennessee to make him look like he’s the answer. He hasn’t looked bad this season, but he’s far from anything special. He’s currently 1-3 and only looked great against us. The Cowboys make every average QB look special. Everyone from the Giants fans to the New York media, would have questioned the Giants for allowing Jones to walk and replacing him with Dobbs or some rookie. The bottom line is you have to pay QBs these days even if they’re far from great. You’re not going to get far with Journeyman's, or throwing in rookies and hoping for the best. They’ve certainly struggled since Eli retired, but that’s usually the case when you’re forced to move on from a Hall of Fame QB.

He was the ultimate bus driver last season. You don't pay bus drivers unless you built a great team around them. Id rather take my chances on a rookie with an average team then Jones with an average team

Jones showed definite improvement and drove the bus pretty well for the Giants who improved over the previous season. Daboll was named coach of the year after his first season with the Giants. You can’t allow your starting QB to walk and leave your new head coach who’s coming off a promising first year to have to look for another QB. I totally disagree with your approach. No team in the league would do what you’re suggesting if they were in the same situation.

And look where it has got them. Jones best season was his rookie season in 2019. Since then he has never thrown for more than 15tds since. In 2020 he had 11td and 10 ints, in 2021 he had 10 TD and 7 int, and then last year 15td and 5 ints. So yea, there was no improvement, it's who he is, the ultimate bus driver and will more than likely cost Daboll his job

Anyone who thought Howell or Jones are better or even close to Dak is crazy. Whether you like Dak as our QB or not, nobody in their right mind would choose those qbs over Dak. I still can't believe the Giants gave Jones that contract
Some of our fans think Rush is better or that we should play Lance. It's a crazy world.

He's thrown a few more that could have been picked, one a pick 6.
He has. And last year, he threw some that should have been receptions instead of turnovers. Both of the extremes of the Dak debate make too much out of it.

Every QB essentially goes through this ... years/games where interceptions are dropped and years/games where it seems like passes that shouldn't be interceptions turn into ones.

The 2019 season was Joneses best season for TDs and he only had 22 more passing yards than he did this past season. He had 12 INT’s in 2019 compared to only 5 last season. He had over 400 fewer rushing yards in 2019 and 5 fewer rushing TDs than he had last season and his passer rating wasn’t as good in 2019. You’re preoccupied with TD passes for how good a season a QB has. Do a Google there are links everywhere documenting his improvement last season. This is just one example.

Dak is a great QB! Our receivers need to come back to bail Dak out when he's on the run to find a receiver. You keep fighting to get open until the whistle blows!

I think that's where you have to have a GM who is willing to make the tough call. I haven't seen anything from Jones that makes me believe he's a franchise QB. I would have looked for a trade partner while his stock was probably at its highest and tried again. ... But I'm glad that they didn't.

Yeah. Dak is just like Joe Montana.
If Dak win a Super Bowl he can throw all the INTs he wants, as far as I'm concerned.
Would Joe Montana be Joe Montana if that Bengal caught the ball and ran it in and the 49ers lost the Super Bowl?
