Only willfully ignorant people can continue to downplay his talents

They’ve lied so much to themselves they believe the lies. It’s been going around for a while now.

Dak's deep ball really improved from the overthrows of his early years.

BadThrow% about the same as last year, both much better than 2018.
OnTarget% ranking in the league went down this year, though the number is about the same as last year.
Sort on Team to bring up Dak's numbers. Note that Dalton's accuracy numbers were 10th in the league, and a little better than Dak's.

Interesting perspective and that's the Andy Dalton who is the worst QB in the league according to some. Imagine what a Herbert would look like in this offense.

Stats shmats.....

let us know when he accomplishes something for the entire team rather than his personal stat book. Do you think Brady cares where he ranks on the stat page?
Can you see that stats are a method to evaluate his talent at the position? His wins/losses since he entered the league are another.

Hopefully, he gets a decent Defense like Brady has had and I’ll let you know how he does.

He’d look the same? You know Herbert had a good receiving core right including one of the best receivers in the league? Oops.

Brother, good stuff, but you do know these stats were based on the 2019 season?

I wonder how much better his stats would have been for 2020 had he not gotten injured early in the season, especially since Dak was leading all passers by a mile after Week 5 and on pace to shatter Peyton Manning's single season passing record (5,400) by at least 1,200+ yards?

29-24 record in his last 3-1/3 seasons.....yeah, such a high flying QB but he can't elevate his team like he does his personal stats
Oh, so just leave out the 13-3? That's convenient.

Andy Dalton is 18-31 over the same time period, yet you'd be happy with him as starter.

Well let's see where Dalton's top 10 Accuracy lands Red Rifle in the 2021 season?

Will Andy Dalton get a starting Contract and QB1 position in 2021?

We know Dak Stats and wins are at least a $37.4 M Exclusive Tag.

Please elaborate:lmao2:

Dak Haters are duplicitous:lmao2:

They will always move the GOAL POST

@USArmyVet will just move the goalpost:muttley:

Dak isn't the problem. And I'm becoming convinced his contract won't be the problem. We could have signed anyone we wanted this year and Dak's contract number was massive. It'll get better once he signs. We need to field at least an average defense and we haven't...not even close. We need to hit big time on a couple of defensive players this year or it won't matter who we have at QB.

I'd be happy with Dalton for 1 year while a new young QB is ready to take over this organization and bring it back to the glory years...something Dak can't do.

As for his rookie record, clearly an anomaly seeing how he has brought this team to barely above a .500 record since. Oh, and what did he do with that 13-3 record his rookie year? A 1 and done in the playoffs.

Dalton was well known during that period, Dak was not. Dak's only good season was his rookie season. Once teams figured out they could shut him down by forcing him to pass, that's exactly what they did, and the record reflects that. Don't get all hung up on stats - they don't translate to anything other than "feel good" points. They certainly don't translate to wins. I mean, look at Jameis Winston, last year's league leading passer. Dude is awful.

Ok, then we'll come full circle.

What should Deshaun Watson be paid?

Nothing an individual player does translates to wins. Throwing the ball well does it better than anything else though.

QB wins is the dumbest, laziest argument there is.
