When a person does push back against the facts, when they simply cannot admit they were wrong in any circumstance? What in their psychological makeup makes it impossible for them to admit they were wrong, even when it is obvious they were? And why does this happen so repetitively — why do they never admit they were wrong?

The answer is related to their ego, their very sense-of-self. Some people have such a fragile ego, such brittle self-esteem, such a weak "psychological constitution," that admitting they made a mistake or that they were wrong is fundamentally too threatening for their egos to tolerate. Accepting they were wrong, absorbing that reality, would be so psychologically shattering, their defense mechanisms do something remarkable to avoid doing so — they literally distort their perception of reality to make it (reality) less threatening. Their defense mechanisms protect their fragile ego by changing the very facts in their mind, so they are no longer wrong or culpable.Tthat is the majority of Dak haters.
I’m just the opposite ,curious what does that make me lol so many games so many seasons. It’s easy to make mistakes. Forget things. But you’re right this guy is looking just waiting for Prescott thread .

Just a simple reminder - Jameis Winston was the #1 overall QB in 2019. I bet no one in Tampa Bay was pounding their chests and propping him up like is done around here for Dak. It's funny how no one was propping him up after the stinker against Denver.

Last I looked, Dak didn't beat Atlanta all by himself either..

Welcome to the Board, Dr. Phil.

Hey asshat, posts are public whereas you are going into members accounts to see their settings so f off with your childish BS.
I go into members accounts. Because I want to send them a personal message. But when they’re shut down. I just wonder why.

Strong leaders bring out the beta in you; which is why I doubt your proud claims of being a vet. Or if you were one, likely a a malingering ****bag that saw a lot of duty and didn’t get promoted past e-3
I thought he was still E 1. They don’t have to promote you.

I can respect a true critic, someone who will give their views of what a player or QB needs to improve on but what I do not get is when that QB actually does improve on those things some still will not give Dak his dues. I have said many times, I don't think right now Dak is elite but then my version of elite is based on year in and year out performance at a very high level. Few QB make my elite status. I have watched Dak go from a dink and dunk rookie QB and continue to develop into a top rated QB in this league who can make all throws and has shown the leadership that position requires and he does deserve the respect.
I don’t even like the word elite. But you know that.

I wonder what the record is. The longest running thread with regard to Prescott before it get derailed and pissed on. They don't last long. God forbid you give props to a player on a team you follow/support. It's kind of sad. I would have slight anxiety before opening their medicine cabinet.

I was a Prescott fan as first preseason game. I knew he was different. Jared Goff is no longer with the Rams because he couldn’t read a defense. Prescott had the same issue but he overcame it he learned he studied. Carson Wentz is no longer with Philadelphia. Simply because he has no poise. Prescott is so great under pressure. His play action is one of the best in the league. He’s done nothing but evolve. And people still can’t give them credit. That sad in itself

I'm pretty much sold on Dak now. He has really come a long way and he is kicking @$$ out there. That broncos game aggravated me but I know that it was on the entire team and not just him. My biggest issue with him in the past was him stealing YAC from receivers because they had to wait on his throw but he has fixed that. My other issue was him throwing behind receivers forcing them to contort themselves to try to catch the ball but he has fixed that also. He is hitting dudes in stride now and I love it. It's very obvious that he has put in the necessary work to correct his weaknesses. I am proud to call him QB1 of the Cowboys.

Easy on the name calling sir. Amazing that you go around ratting people out for name calling while proceeding to name call. AMAZING. Hypocrite

These guys I mention say four.

We got got six people dominated the agenda, trolling each other...then complaining about it. But the TWO? beech the MOST about the numbers...while they MAKE the numbers higher.

It's infuriating. They claim claim they are don't it it for the good of the community....no...they are doing it for their own ego.

If you need some examples I can show you...in PM of course to avoid and further rules violation.
First off...I never said you claimed it was for the good of the community. Not sure why you are up in arms about it. What I do claim is that we should WANT to be.

The first WELL KNOWN rule of fighting trolls is don;t feed them. You do and then complain about them. It makes zero sense.

I don't put people on ignore. I'm not a **** fascist who needs to shut people up that I disagree with.

I am not up in arms about anything. I think you have gone into the over drama portion of this thread.....not sure why you are up in arms about this whole thing anyway.

all I said is I am dishing them what they were dishing for a long time....most have been quiet, knowing they have no leg to stand on....Khiladi tried for a few thread with semi-acting logical responses that were shreded by a few others, not me. and Pappy is pappy....he is village idiot and sometimes you have fun with the billage idiot. they like to be the dancing monkey, so little bit fun....However, I did complain about some people's stupidity.

call me petty. doesn't matter. put the trolls on ignore, so you don't have to deal with it.

Oh I have tagged the one who said Dak sucks under pressure in this thread. He's since commented on other threads but not this one. Go figure.

Yeah, I'm going to just stop posting my thoughts about Dak because his fans go freaking berserk if someone disputes their account of things...Dak can do not wrong, and I will just stop posting...it gets tiring. I make a comment,,,,wrong! That was a play they designed, no luck involved.

Have a good time, you Dak lovers! smmfh!

You expose yourself time and time again. Just come out and say you hate Dak. You make a distinction between "his fans" and yourself. So clearly you're not a fan of your QB.

This is you going berserk because your attempt to spin a dismissive account on that throw was easily disputed by others and made you look foolish.

Possibly. Promotions are pretty much automatic til' after e-4, but if he was a ****bird like I suspect; then I can picture that being the case.

Some don't realize that the military has their share of "special" people who passed through waivers to get in, and require 24/7 supervision just to ensure they hygiene properly and show up to formation on time. They're also the same types who typically take exceptional pride in their military status, that is akin to the kind of power trip some Leo's have who were bullied in high school - but can now flex their "authority" with a badge and gun. They're absolutely useless, but because they wore the uniform, they think they're unique and special and will brag about it until the end of time. Our word to describe them was: "Motard" and/or "Motarded". They're highly motivated but also... you know the rest.

I don’t remember them being automatic when I was in. But we weren’t specialist then. We were private Coppell sergeants
