News: Dak Prescott may need more help for Super Bowl season

Putting Warner on the list is pretty disingenuous; he played in exactly one game in his first season and threw 11 garbage time passes in the final game. Plus he was older and way better than the rest of the QBs on the list. The remaining four on the list appear to be fairly close comparisons on the surface.

So a quarterback can't just carry a team to a Super Bowl regardless of the rest of the team? Now that Romo's gone everybody's modifying their expectations and realizing something that's been been obvious for decades. Brilliant.

With all of the incredible talent acquisitions mad this year via FA and the draft, I really believe one player is going to catapult this defense into a formidable unit. That player wasn't acquired this year but the plan was always to play him this year.

That player is Jaylon Freaking Smith.

The Cowboys offense is what got them to the playoffs but they will never be a SB contender until they get better than they were last season on defense. Maybe they have something this coming season.
