Dallas Oline 1st-round picks since 2010

Adding this ........

We've been pretty bad in the 2nd. Same Williams was supposed to be a nice pick though. I'm guessing his stock fell because of character concerns. Hopefully Kneeland develops and is the start if turning it back around. Sam is gone after this year i imagine.

I like Booker as a player. But not with your premium top 12 pick. You can find players like Booker in the lower 2nd round.

And i dont agree that we are good at drafting OL men.
This drafting of a guard in the 1st round really isn't out of character for this front office.

Zack Martin was taken in the 1st round (16th) as well with the sole intention of switching him to play guard and it worked out pretty well.

If Booker T can be 90% the player Martin was it should bode well for solidifying this line. Time will tell

I know some don't like the Booker pick, but two things to say. First, somehow we do well drafting 1st round o-linemen. The jury is still out on Guyton (hoping for year 2 development), and Booker seems to be a solid pick. Second, if you want to rebuild the line back to a top tier unit for the future QB, you have to start now. Spending #12 on a guard that could start for 10 years is not so bad. If he doesn't pan out, sure, not good. But every pick carries risk.
He was a safe pick tho. 90 percent they hit on that one. Most just didn't think we needed a guard.
