Yeah, because they knew Dak had only 1 weapon at WR. Duh!!! Anyone who has played the game knows how easy that is to defend. Proves you don't understand that since you never played the game.
Yeah another example of your never ending BS excuses. Dak the would of, could’ve, excuse machine. Players suck, coaches suck, refs suck, Dak says throw garbage at them, or I’m going to be a hero QB draw as the clock strikes zero. Keep propping him up, it’s sad but it’s what we expect from a guy who claims to of done everything but in reality has never done a thing just like the QB he loves.

When it comes to lame excuses Dak is a champion after all!!!! :muttley:
America's Cowboys should change his name to "America's Dak Lover" think in his case it would be most suitable!

The same thing happens in every thread about Dak. The haters couldn’t even give him a break in the thread about him being named NFL Man of the Year. Just another opportunity to bash him.
This is the only trophy he will ever hold in his hands.....
Enjoy....

We all know you’re thrilled about that because you’re not a Cowboys fan. Your tiring agenda is nothing but a shtick to get attention and reactions. Once Dak is gone, you’ll move on to another fan board or create a new username here with another gimmick to annoy fans with.

You know folks, there are other positions to take with Dak other than "Dak is the Greatest" or "Dak is the Worst". For me, it's "Dak this is your last ****** chance. Super Bowl or bust for you, PAL!!!!!"

Romo had 10+ years. Dak has barely had 7. 3+ more years to go. Fair is fair.

There's no doubt that the Dallas Cowboys are more likely to follow you into the pit of a Dak extension, but I wouldn't. Give Dak the 2023 season but then cut ties if he doesn't get it done. Had the Patriots followed your logic, they would have stuck with Drew Bledsoe rather than give an unproven 6th rounder a shot.

Dak is statistically top 10 in ever statistical grouping for QBs. You don't get rid of a bonafied top 10 QB in his prime.

Final score is a product of the entire Cowboys offense, the entire Cowboys defense, and the opposing team. There's so many moving parts beyond the quarterback... in fact, you've pretty much introduced every moving part possible.

If you want to talk individual metrics about Dak, like DVOA, PFF grade, QBR, or EPA, I'll play ball. But ranking a QB by their entire team's point differential is idiocy. If you're claiming that's the case, you're also claiming that Brock Purdy is a better quarterback than Mahomes, and I'll leave it at that.
Not at all, as individual game conditions do depend upon team manageable leadership elements and can be indicated by individual game film analysis as do all teams now doing that. On the contrary. more general management principals give football related insight...not some magical statistic that at best gives directional dominance, not game dominance. Wins say it all in the NFL.

Know when Tom Landry won a pair of Lombardis? When he had QB Roger Staubach.

Know when Jimmy Johnson won his Super Bowls When he had DE Charles Haley.

Know when Barry Switzer won his Lombardi? When Haley was available non injury and then Jerry paid for the services of Deion Sanders. Now tell me a stat that covers those facts...

I'll say this. I think Dak has performed well enough throughout his career to where he has earned one final opportunity to show that he is the QB to lead the Cowboys to the promised land. But uuuuhh no, he is not playing like he is in his prime. You can't say that about a QB who has had 2 major injuries in 3 seasons and suddenly throws 17 ints in 12 games in his latest season is in his prime. Those are signs of a declining QB. The Cowboys are taking a major gamble for not drafting for the future unless they think Will Grier could be the guy.

Will Grier has potential, but he's no Dak. Still a good idea to groom Will Grier and see if he can improve to #2 this year.

As for Dak, you're not being fair at all. Last year (2022), Dak had no Oline (ranked #22 out of 32 teams). It was constantly injured and patched up with various lower level players made to switch positions repeatedly all season long. No cohesion or experience together as a whole. Plus, Dak only had 1 true legit RB who was forced to play part-time in order to give favor to the overpaid/over-run old goat. That affected the run game and the ability to be able to consistently move the sticks. Also, Dak had only 1 legit WR. The rest were JAGs with 1 not fully healed from a torn ACL. The starting TE played hurt all season. His backups were inexperienced rookies. The O-Coordinator was horrible at using better schemes to help create separation for his receivers. The Cowboys receivers averaged the lowest of all 32 teams when considering separation average from a defender. Everything badly affected Dak and his inability to perform better.

Game film shows team leadership? At what time stamp? And we were talking about QBs, so where did Deion and Haley come from?

You're all over the map, dude. Come back with a thesis statement about Dak and I'll play ball. Otherwise, I'm out.

You have to discuss, not try and impress with a preppies' version of relevant.

Get into a discussion first and not attempt to strut around like a territorial turkey. You are so informed, you explain to me why what was added by myself is completely relevant...or have the Cowboys Organization still forgotten to see you are included in yet another after season after action analysis.

Some of us weren't born with golden spoons in our mouths and had to learn through an unprotected view and earn truths the old fashioned way...honestly.

Try watching NFL films mr. you don't know...I'm sorry, Prince of Darkness!

Dak like Romo is a perfect example of Jerry Jones getting into a bidding war with himself and losing.
