I know we harp on Zeke and how much juice he’s lost, but somehow, Dak has lost even more.

For being such an effective dual threat QB coming into the league, his mobility has truly bottomed out. He still has power, but zero speed/quickness or elusiveness

That’s why we won’t see one lifting the other into the Salvation Army kettle…….gotta be able to get through their 30s

His scrambling reminds me of a combination of Fran Tarkenton, Steve Young and a splash of Lamar Jackson. He’s a lot more elusive and faster than people want to believe.
That's shocking....
Those are two HOFers and one probable. :omg:
I don't think he's anything like any of them.
He certainly doesn't move like Lamar Jackson.

I think Dak does best with run/pass options to the right.

His scrambling ability isn't what it used to be.

For that reason, it's become a rarity.
I feel like he only scrambles back and to the right maybe I’m wrong but this kind of stuff defensive coordinator zero in on. It’s very limiting To our offense.

look at the romo highlights. He’s dodging guys and stepping UP into the pocket. And of course the famous spin back to the left romo had

Dak’s scrambling asset is his strength and strong base. When he goes for a scramble that is successful, it’s usually when he breaks the tackle of what would be a sure tackle for another QB. This is what also prevents him generally from being sacked. It’s not like he has good footwork, When he gets more and more physically banged up, he’ll lose this one asset. He can’t outrun anybody with speed in reality.

Let’s be honest though. If my ankle snapped into like his did, I’d be continuously worried about scrambling too.

As with many more mysteries surrounding this offense, the Chicago game revealed a spark of juice still in Dak's legs for running designed runs/RPOs which added an additional element to the offense.
Similar to the 2016 and best version of this QB.

But like I said, the mystery is if this element will show itself again or was some kind of one time fluke by the QB, the OC or both.

So I was thinking something the offense is missing is the plays in which the qb kind of just slides around a little keeps his head up and finds someone for a nice lil gainer.
Am I wrong is this absent from his game

Dak can't run anymore. Aaron Rodgers is 40 and he's able to elude pressure better than dak, or go run for yards!! Dak is extremely slow running the ball. I often imagine if we had a QB that had some ability to get away from someone, how effective this could be for us

Yeah right, we're not watching the same qb, if you said powerful ok but he's nowhere elusive

Dak is like a combination of the tin man in the wizard of oz and forest Gump with polio braces on his leg, he's an awesome runner. I think old women in hoover rounds have a hard time outrunning him.
