AHahahahhahah....that's a myth. And if it was that great Romo should've got a ring with it.
If Dez caught that perfect pass, maybe he would have.

I looked back 5 pages to see if this had been posted. I did not see it. If this is a repeat, I apologize.
Some will see the info here as a great compilation of dak's history with the Cowboys. A positive outlook and argument that he will end up being great.
Others will find this to be humorous.
I merely posted this and offer zero opinion.
Cooper had his best season with Dak. Dak elevated his game when all of the haters said he wouldn't be utilized properly because of Dak...lolDisagreeing with any implication that Prescott can’t do the same.
Romo was very good here...but he wasn't good enough to play defense and stop Aaron Rodgers. If Dez caught that perfect pass, maybe he would have.
Dak has shown he’s as good as the talent around him, which is a vastly underrated quality among fan bases.
Dak Prescott. If everything around him is perfect, he's decent.
Yay!
The Internet for ten years of Tony Romo starting: "He has more turnovers than big plays, we need efficiency!!"
The Internet for three years of Dak Prescott starting: "Sure he is efficient, but we need big plays!!!"
Dak is a good QB, I don’t think he’ll ever be a great QB. Somewhere between 10-20.
Good enough to win a SB with the right things falling in place.
He walked into the greatest offensive personnel of any QB in NFL history as a starting rookie QB.

Dak has everything to prove this year... TFred is back, his BFF is now OC, he has some new toys to play with, and the D should be a top 10 unit.
Last year was a jekyll and hyde year. There were games the offense was anemic— and there were times the 2016 formula was in effect (after Coops arrival)
Bottom line: no excuses. He needs to deliver us a NFCC and SB berth to put the doubters to rest and earn his mega deal.
Yawn. He had a great line and RB.
WRs mediocre. TE past his prime.
Baker Mayfield was in the same situation last year.
He also hasn't played with Cobb and Gallup never had more than 3 catches in a game until the end of the season. He only had Cooper for half the season and Cooper was learning the playbook as he went. He didn't have Witten last year and in 2017 Witten had clearly lost a step, same for Dez Bryant.
But other than that, it was the 1993 Cowboys out there on the field with Prescott.
You can get by with "mediocre WRs" - though, Beasley was not mediocre in 2016, he was a top 3 slot receiver and Dez was a #1 when he was healthy.
There hasn't been another rookie QB that came into the league with the o-line he had. Do you get what that does for a QB? Heck, do you know what that does for "mediocre" WRs?
I am simply arguing that it is possible for a QB to elevate WRs. Are you saying this is impossible and QBs dont help WRs? Not sure what you are disagreeing with here.
Yup. Because if they pan out, they can either take your starter's place, or you can trade them.If I was the GM. Be blessed I'm not LOL I would draft a quarterback every single season in the late rounds. You just never know what you're going to get. I would have a revolving door like Jimmy.
And Romo plummeted Roy Williams's(WR) career. For example Tony Romo's play elevetaed Laurent Robinson to an 11 TD season. His career high other than that was 2.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-pro-bowl/0ap3000000779752/QB-Precision-Passing-Dak-PrescottYou should admit your wrong on everything Dak, because by every metric this guy is a stud in the making.
