It's just crazy to me that this organization and a large part of the fanbase want to keep him around even longer. How many more years are you supposed to keep a starting QB who hasn't taken you far in the playoffs? 10 years? 15 years? We are pretty much the only team who has kept a QB with this resume around for this long. If any other team was doing this, we'd all be laughing at them and saying how big of a mistake they're making.

How many teams have had the same GM for 28 years while not winning the Super Bowl?

He is who he is. He is 30 years old. He is not going to miraculously improve. A little bit of adversity does him in.

Exactly...........Dak is not going to get anybody better, he already is 30 years old.

Dak is not in the same category as Rogers or Brady, he just aint.

When his deal is up, I think you just let him walk if he is wanting $50 a season................He is not worth that much, I'm sorry if this offends anybody, but the truth is the truth.

He's a 25yd line to 25yd line QB. When the field tightens, and the money plays are to be made, he no shows. And it's not just passing, he had the opportunity to run a couple times down there but either hesitated or didn't read the defensive end properly. Just a lack of moxie. Frustrated with this guy b/c this should be the peak of his career.

Dak stopped free lance running after his ankle got snapped.

He only runs on designed boot legs, option plays now.

Vary rarely will he just take off running anymore after that gruesome injury.

Dak has more value to the Cowboys than just his on-field stats.

He is a very likeable guy, does great things in the community, is the Walter Payton Man of the Year winner, and is the perfect face of the franchise, and sells a ton of jerseys and tickets.

As long as he just plays decent and keeps the team relevant, that is all Jerry and Steven really care about.

Like I have said a million times already, winning is not the end all be all goal of Jerry and Steven, making money is way more important and that is why Dak is still around after 8 yrs of basically winning nothing.

This started last year with Cooper Rush. Remember when his fanboys were saying that all they needed to do is run the same game management, short-passing gang offense they can run with Rush, but with Dak’s “big” arm it would be over for the league.

CJ Stroud 3 games into the NFL is better than Dak ever was. That’s a guy you watch and can be excited about. He goes through his progressions and his accuracy on the intermediate to deep routes is crazy.

A rookie had thrown doe over 900 YARDS and ZERO interceptions in his first three starts and 4 TDs.

The Panthers were DUMB choosing a midget over a tall QB that goes through his progressions, not hailing from the pocket and is that accurate downfield. His balls are beautiful to watch.

Id disagree with @jwooten15 in that we wont need to tank, we can still utilize this Defense. Look at the last two QB's that have beaten us...... PURDY and DOBBS. Now tell me you need a Franchise QB.
