Eventually the offense has to be able to put up points without the defense giving them 3 turnovers a game. This was the first time this season that didn't happen and Dak and the offense couldn't crack 20
RIght. Dak gets all of the blame with 2 rookies and another backup blocking for him, 12 penalties and running the ball over and over and over with 5 minutes to go down 2 scores.

Dak gets all of the blame because the defense let Josh freaking Dobbs and the freaking AZ Cards run for over 200 yards on them.

Whatever...i will let you rejoice in the INT. You will love the media this week.

So Dak wasn't playing bad today? He should have had multiple picks today (for those still counting which ones weren't his fault from last year) and he under threw Gallup for a surefire TD. He had his chances, he just can't deliver.
I would call it a so-so game, certainly not the disasterous game some here are painting. If we're actually being objective there was a mix of good plays and bad. The offense moved up the field but it got very tight inside the 10 and there really was't much there for Dak. Back to the drawing board on the red zone plays.

Why was the play caller calling run plays with a $40m QB?

Can we please agree. He must go. He's a fragile egg waiting to crack under pressure.
We can agree all we want, will it make a difference? I don't need that headache. When he's gone, he's gone. Right now, he's here.

He's a 25yd line to 25yd line QB. When the field tightens, and the money plays are to be made, he no shows. And it's not just passing, he had the opportunity to run a couple times down there but either hesitated or didn't read the defensive end properly. Just a lack of moxie. Frustrated with this guy b/c this should be the peak of his career.
There’s just no growth in his game it’s been the same for 8 years.

Where is your “the offense was fantastic” thread?

Or does that only happen when the defense is dominating and getting the offense the ball back consistently?
No, it happens only when the offense is fantastic.

Our offense was ranked 4th in efficiency through Week 2.

I'm sorry that you don't know football?

Did I mention the INT? I said the offense was eventually going to have to put some points up when the defense has a bad game and doesn't get Dak and Co. multiple turnovers and short fields to score on. Today they couldn't carry the water. Cope harder.

This is the problem. Dak can play good enough until the defense tightens up with a short field (red zone). Let's take out say 25y - 25y plays and focus on the redzone. Still a so-so game? We kicked a bunch of FG's vs the Jets also.

He’s a front runner . The moment the slightest bit of adversity hits it’s over . I literally told my son “ forget the offense today “ BEFORE the game when i saw 3 starting online men out . Dak can not overcome adversity . Now you pay him 40 million+ when he’s worth 25 million tops and you can’t win in post season because the post season is 24/7 adversity and he can’t overcome the financial gap that results in lesser players . Dak would be a great back up or a journey man type like andy dalton that can be a bridge between franchise QBs . That’s it .
