He had a subpar year for his standard, yes. Thats why he’s 15th, because the players know he’s even better than how the year went.

And he’s not a rb, because rushing TDs are a QB stat
He’s a one year wonder….same thing Wentz got killed for…only having one good year out of four.

23 passing touchdowns to 13 picks is also a QB stat and its abysmal.

It's nothing but fluff, meaningless is what it is.

what I find hilarious (and hypocritical) is that if something is favorable for Dak its meaningless...fluff, but if it negative, it is spot on and reflective of the truth. same can be said for the other side. It reminds of that old cartoon of two opposing sides pushing against the same rock...utterly useless but each side keeps pushing.

Do you have any idea how hypocritical it is that you save other peoples posts meanwhile you hide your posting history? Lol.
To be fair I think the vast majority of everyone's post history is hidden. I can access the last 15 posts of your history but nothing past that.

How do you define subpar? He had 4300 yards and 38 TDs

That being considered a down year for hurts is probably why he’s regarded as the 15th best player
You are kind of burying some of the stats though aren't you? 38 TDs sounds great but then you dig and find that as a QB he only threw 23 TD passes against 15 interceptions. The majority of the remaining TDs were mostly tush pushes. I mean they count as a TD but are they as impressive as if he threw 38 TD passes? Not really. The 15 interception is also pretty mediocre.

His QB rating was 89 which ranked him 20th and his QBR was 60 ranking him a little better at 13.

This player voting often tends to fall on some level of popularity. But make no mistake, Jalen Hurts didn't even come close to playing like the 15th best player in the NFL last year.

In his 3 years starting, he’s averaging 4300 total yards and 32 TDs per 17 games.

If he can continue on that trend and cut the picks back a little bit, he will be well worth his contract

But every QB is getting 1, 2 yard TD passes with gimmicky sidearms to the TE who’s uncovered due to the play design or flipping it to the back where it’s a sweep but the ball technically went forward so it’s a passing TD.

If both scenarios happen on the 1 yard line, why is one then more impressive than the other if they’re ultimately the same?

Trent won’t be very long if his body is gonna keep taking those hits at some point you gotta come up and play quarterback.

No one is knocking Hurts for one yard passes…
