plural noun: excuses
/ikˈskyo͞os/
  1. 1.
a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense.

    Yep.....its a excuse...your point?
if dak needs perfection all around him we are in trouble that what,,we may finish 12-5 and get into the payoffs but that type of DL and defense etc ios what we will face in the playoffs..if dak cant overcome pressure and missing a few players i say we are in trouble that what.. hes 1-2 the 2 losses were dak being OFF way off even when under basic pressure his passes looked shot out of tshirt cannon, who knows where they were going.his technique like in the denver game with not setting his feet and his jump pass technique both feet off ground is the reason hes off not just the OL..i get it but the playoff teams wont be feeling chartble..so he needs to play on boots, and moving pockets and throwing under pressure,,

Asking for receivers to catch the the football and for the offensive line to block is considered perfection? Let's also be 100% honest with ourselves...this offensive line hasn't been good all year. Yesterday was just their WORST performance. Dak getting the football out quick has made that offensive line look far better than it has and it surely isn't "perfection".

Dak had the 2nd worse protection of any QB in whole NFL in the last ten years and Dak is being blamed? LOL.

His over throws, underthrows, to far left to far right his fumbles and ints were not on anyone but Dak..sure other issues happened throughout the game that wasnt dak but his paly contributed more to the loss then any other factors.. but remember wentz got hated on when he had no OL, no receivers etc etc here we are with dak in 2 losses looking a whole lot like wintz..lol

just like 2019 down the stretch especially that philly2 game dak choked..sorry but call it like i see it..hes ben playing great MOST of the year but laid soem eggs of late..its his technique under pressure the last 2 losses that are the issue,.,

the defense held KC to what 3 points in the second half gave the ball back to dak twice with TOs etc etc nothing squat nada..dak instead gives 3 tos back to the other side,,

excuses!!

this post bye play is shaping up like the collapse of 2019 that finished 8-8 ..no playoffs hope this big lead and slump is temporary but this was the time in 2019 when it all went south..

If you call it like you see it then you couldn't tell Dak was hurt in that Philly game? Or is that a excuse? You don't have to apologize to me. You should apologize to yourself for this knee jerk reaction lol. You are projecting this team to be bad so there's really nothing I can say to change your mind. You have it in your mind they are bad so it is what it is.

Imagine comparing Wentz to Dak lol.....just askinine man lol. I can't take y'all serious after losses maybe we can debate after wins you guys seem to be more logical lol.

Dak struggles against man coverage, holds the ball. You have to beat man with big plays one on one and the run game, put them in zone.
We couldn't do that with Amari out and then Lamb out.

It was bad game plan and bad execution

This so much...the gameplan was bad , missing your #1 WR...I know they didnt find out till Friday but man surely they have some backup plans...and yes Dak and the offense really played bad...looked like it was their first game together, every level of timming was way off.

I keep telling you guys. Dak's not going to just sit back there and take a beating like Romo did. The dude wants a career. Not interested in being a martyr.

They need to protect him. Or the Cowboys aren't gonna win many more games this season.

What do you mean not accurate? The numbers don't lie. He didn't play a great game but do you think it had nothing to do with the 27 hits, knockdowns, or pressures? Any quarterback can be made mortal with that kind of pressure.

Spot on, no QB would be successful with that kind of constant pressure.

nope excuses sorry his technique was horrible in Denver and KC just bad form and those throws while contested should have been more accurate...

On top of that, no one won their matchups and drops all over.

Dak still played horrible but there was reasons. He needed to run to shake the game up.

A couple PI’s that didn’t get called either and a few to several non calls throughout the game that we would have benefited from.

1 particularly to Shultz in the end zone.

We are talking about the Kansas City game right now. The Denver game he was objectively terrible. Did you watch the Super Bowl last year? Mahomes gets eaten alive by the Tampa pass rush and does absolutely nothing. Having a brutal NFL rush in your face would probably make it a little harder to settle in and hit throws with accuracy no? ;) After all, why even rush the passer if they all should just be able to shrug off a 275lb DE and deliver a ball with accuracy down the field.

It's a factor but he wasn't very sharp all game. He missed WRs that were open. On one of his later game sacks, there was a WR wide open crossing right in front of him and he pumped and got sacked.

He was bad today. It wasn't all on the OL for him. Why do some of you struggle to admit he sucked when he actually sucked?

do you see the words "with him sucking" in the post you quoted? lol. that's a pretty blatant admission. but also applying context.

That’s the most in a game this season, with the second most being 21. It’s the second most in an NFL game in the last 10 years.

Despite Dak running for his life, you still have a couple of idiots expecting him to be Superman and put up 500 yards.

He is also the #1 rated qb this year when he is under pressure but he did not look like it. He had a bad game as did everyone on the offense side. It happens. Hopefully they will bounce back.
