leary is going to be tested with geno, he's already had trouble with quick guys
This is where Zeke becomes more and more valuable.

This guy can block..

saw him hit a Blitzer in the last game and he lifted him over his shoulder and flipped him..

DAĶ got the pass off to Witten for a first down.

Would have loved to have been in the film room..

sure the room filled with hoopes..

So relax..Leary and the rest have a backup.

That'd be great, although as long as we keep doing things right and winning, the records will take care of themselves. I know we all long for those days of yesteryear when we felt strongly we'd win well before game time came due. It'll take time, no doubt. At least we're on the upswing for the time being. Hopefully, most of our walking wounded will heal well enough to permit the "Ws" to continue. We'll see.
Back in the 70' we led with Defense.

Doom's Day came to be.

Back in the early 80's and 90's the same and it was offense and Doom's Day II

Romo has had no great defenses in our Era with him.

But that is partly his fault becuz his $20 mil/ yr and Dez's deal is prohibiting that.

So we will see.

You really have to enjoy what's happening with the team it's a special thing I haven't seen since 1990 1991 when that team was coming together. With a few key additions to the defense this year we will be Off to the Races.

Thank you Jerry I was really worried I wasn't ever going to see this again

It'll be interesting to see if the FO's ultra-generous contracts to its core players continue into the future, now that Stephen has assumed a more prominent role in the decision-making process. That trend seems to have subsided so far in recent years. Hopefully, future contracts might be relegated to being more affordable and not seriously hogtie overall team strength. It might take a while to fully recover, from those blockbuster deals, though. At least, Stephen isn't inclined to be nearly as generous as his old man. Let's hope it allows the defense to recover going forward.

Good reply.

There has been a change..

like the deal with Bailey..

big contract but all of it is incentive based on performance.

Where if they do their position jobs..they get paid.

Different from when Romo was resigned.

It's all good and getting better.

I think this off season is going to be a big challenge though..

we have important guys to resign and our cap is exhausting.

We'll see...

Two years ago Leary was probably our best Lineman...he was abusing folks..
he should have made the Pro-Bowl, but unfortunately that is mostly reputation voting. Especially for O-Lineman

The strength of the Bengals is arguably their defensive front seven. That group has not allowed a rushing touchdown this season.

"We're going to go in there and run our offense the way we normally do it, and our offensive line is going to move some guys, and we're going to do what we've been doing the last four weeks.'' -- DAK

Story

His teammates have to love him more than we do.
This guy gets me so amped for the games. Leadership personified.

I don't like it.

No need to give extra motivation

Team will love nothing more than exposing a hotshot rookie, he better back it up...

You talk when you've accomplished something... Stay humble until then.

Please learn the difference between these two:

Humble | Definition of Humble by Merriam-Webster

AND

Confidence | Definition of Confidence by Merriam-Webster
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/confidence

Simple Definition of confidence. : a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something. : a feeling or belief that someone or something is good or has the ability to succeed at something. : the feeling of being certain that something will happen or that something is true.

Excellent point.

Geno absolutely abused Miami's offensive line - I kinda felt bad for the guy who was trying to block him. But - we're not Miami and if we can hold him to a standoff and win some other battles we'll be able to move the ball.

The last time they played a great line, not so much. We'll see.
Agreed.

They have to beat the better teams to really regain their legend.

It's been a good warm-up for them for the first 4 games..

but here comes the manly games.

Hope they get healthy and Zeke and DAK continue to lead?

Hope Prescott keeps developing and improving. Excited by what he has shown. I just know that the QB position is about doing things consistently over time...game in and game out, week in and week out. That is why 49ers fans feel they need a QB despite Kaep having shown flashes early. Or Skins fans watched a rookie Pro Bowl QB flame out in RG3. Or the Eagles having to move up for the Football Chosen One (shout out to @Risen) after watching Nick Foles have a Pro Bowl season and then flame out (add the Rams as well because they took Goff instead of using Foles). Or the Jets knowing they need a QB after watching Fitz has returned to being himself following a very solid season.

The QB is a tough position and you have to keep learning and improving. Consistency over an extended period is necessary. Hopefully Prescott stays diligent and keeps getting better. If so, Dallas hit the lottery in Round 4 2016.

Dak will pick up this team and carry them like he has done his entire career. He will back up the talk.

DAK is a breath of fresh air in many more ways than just one. With all apologies to Romo, I can't wait.......

Not that i care but i wonder if that will be bulletin board material this week for the bengals. I kinda like the confidence we have been missing for awhile no matter how subtle the statement.

True. But hes also writing a check that the O line will have to cash.
