Dak's right, their defensive line isnt going to shut out the Cowboy O-line. Someone is getting moved and that is where Zeke runs. Cant rule out Dak running either.

The Bengals first two opponent RB's ran for 96 and 94. That was Forte and Deangelo Williams. They stopped Denver and Miami's nobodies.

What is there to be afraid of?

Will be fun to watch.

Cincinnati hadn't allowed a rushing touchdown this season.

Fixed it for you. That's what will be said after tomorrows game. We may not win, but WE WILL get a couple rushing TD's. One from Zeke and one from Dak.....

I don't doubt for a second that some team and very possibly the Bengals might well be that team. I think Dak realizes what kind of a threat he'll be up against, yet he wasn't deterred from oozing confidence that he and his teammates would succeed. I was just saying how I respect that kind of moxie in our QB, even if it's partly just youthful bravado speaking in defiance of being fearful of the task at hand. Dak isn't one to be overly timid, yet he seems aware of the need to maintain caution.

As far as the turnovers are concerned, Dak and Linehan are apparently doing something right. They've been limiting the interceptions to zero thus far. There's no doubt the streak will end sometime. I doubt it'll affect Dak in some negative fashion, though.

At some point, both Linehan and Dak will get the confidence to go deeper downfield as long as his development allows him doing so successfully. I think Linehan will also sense when the time is right to call passes that require more daring as long as they find success. Let's hope so anyhow. Dak's accuracy has improved favorably since his college days. That's a good sign, even better if it continues.

Dak does throw deep a few times each game. It would help if his receivers catch the ball.

I would look to aggressively attack the Bengals defense in the first series of the game. They'll be expecting run. I'm going deep to somebody. Then deep again.
I hate giving the "likes" leader another one, but I agree....after preseason, we haven't seen the deep shots, and this offense needs to take some every game in my opinion.

It might be closer to once or twice but you're right about his receivers dropping the ball too much when he throws the long one. :banghead:

So far he's been completely correct. Our line is pushing around the Bengals every play.

It's scary to think what could be if this D had the talent to be in the top 15. That would be enough with Dak & this offense to be a contender....

Or we could just run over them anyway like we did. Don't ya just hate it?
