Sure is sad that Romo could not win a popularity contest among players who in previous years voted Donovan McNabb to the list after he basically was benched or Watt when he played three games. This is just yet another slap in the face, let me tell you.Agree. I pretty much wrote off the top 100 list thing, but again having Romo ranked so low just continued to show bias against him. He was a borderline MVP after the 2014 season and he only got to 34. Complete BS.
The NFL Network's Top 100 should never be taken seriously. It's been proven over and over to be a joke. Great conversation starter, tho.
Anybody with any sense would pick Romo over Eli but the youngest Manning has a better chance to get into the Hall because of the rings. As James Hetfield once said, "You know it's sad but true"

Well the list is for the following season, so why can't injured players be on the list?Pretty much.
Having injured players in the top 100 just shows how biased they are towards those players.
Romo would never get in the top 100 like Manning did under any circumstance.
Unfortunately it probably is that simple, but my qualifier is that Romo was on a bunch of lame a ss teams. His best team was the 2014 one that went up to GB and should have come home with a dam victory, but once again Romo was snakebit even though he made a beautiful 4th down clutch as they come throw to Dez for the win...Defense still sucked in 2014 too as it did in 2016.It's really that simple.
Yeah except come into the league, post the best rookie stats of all time and take a 4-12 team to the 1 seed in the NFC. Not to mention getting vets to follow him more than they every followed Romo. I am not saying Romo wasnt a leader, but Dak is on a different level. You can hear it when his teammates talk about him.
I know some guys who have never gotten over the seattle playoff game.Plain and simple, Romo carried the stigma of gaffes at the wrong time and people held it against him. Prescott has yet to face that kind of exposure.
Eh, well, there are still people who think Grammatica should have "blocked" better.I know some guys who have never gotten over the seattle playoff game.
I personally know someone who can't stand him because of that game...and I personally know her husband was a good reason why they lost against the Commanders 14-13. It's all relative. Cool people, but I keep my opinions to myself when I'm around them. lolI know some guys who have never gotten over the seattle playoff game.
Is there some sort of confidentiality agreement? How come no player ever admits to participating in this polling? It's really that simple.
I question whether there are any active players participating. lolIs there some sort of confidentiality agreement? How come no player ever admits to participating in this polling?
