Why oh why would you restructure Dak if all you’re going to do is sign FAs to low end contracts. What kind of terrible cap management is this? If you’re going after tier 1 or 2 ok it makes sense but to bring in the guys they have brought in makes zero sense. This FO is inept and continues to prove they have no clue what they are doing.

We will end up making a trade or 2.

You have to understand Stephen is infatuated with Comp Picks. He has no interest in signing a FA that will impact those calculations.

He will either make a trade or he will wait until after the draft, so it does not count negatively towards our future comp picks.

Another insane reason we did not sign Henry last year.

Signing Derrick Henry will cancel out a 6th round 2025 compensatory pick for the Ravens.

Whatever they don't use gets rolled into next year's cap. It is smart either way....you have the flexibility to sign people or you use it the following year. Nothing to get panties in a wad over.

Philadon for GM.

I'm starting the campaign now.

Because restructuring his and Lambs contracts actually got them around 10-12m in space that they could actually play with. Turpin’s contract and Williams contract might have actually bumped that up a million or 2 but most of that 54m was just a delusion!

You have to understand that speaking for someone else you have no personal knowledge of is nonsense. You have no idea what calculations he does or does not have much less what he thinks about them.

I now get why you like to like people I am arguing with. You too like to spout nonsense authoritatively.

I know you think you have it figured out but you don't.

They could have eaten a massive portion of Daks new contract this season if all they were planning on signing was scrubs.

They just tied him to the organization financially for longer by doing this. It makes zero sense regardless of carrying money over.

This was a way to get fans interest up with no intention of using the money. Marketing ploy.

Makes me wonder if they tell Will McClay and crew what they want (lower tier players) and McClay and crew do the best they can. Again, I feel this has Stephen Jones' fingerprints all over it.
