now it's to late.
Dak will be fine.. He will get paid a ton of money this season and will be due a huge raise one way or another next year. The only way he doesn't get a big deal is if he never makes it back to the field. Which there is about a zero % chance of.

You in no way can specualte on what kind of contract he will or won't get next season...if he comes back and shows healthy perhaps, but until the docs say he will 100% recover you can only guess with no facts at this time..or I have yet to read anyDak will be fine.. What if Dalton comes in and is just as good.
Does Dak still get all the money?
If this year has shown me anything it’s that this team is far away from being a contender and paying a QB 40 million that isn’t elite would not be a great move for us.

Dallas isn’t going to franchise him if they end up 9-7 with Andy Dalton.. Are you crazy? Dalton may even sign for 15 million to play in his home state and end his career here.
Dalton may actually set a new precedent in the NFL for QB pay... the exact opposite that players want to see happen.

Do you honestly think a 32 yo backup going 9-7 will be enough to steal Dak's team from him? C'mon dude.....LOL
Jerry has the leverage now. Will he use it? I'd say 15 to 20 mill one year deal to see how well he comes back. Handing out a huge deal at this point would be pure stupidity.
