Lol we wish. We’re stuck with Dak for a couple more years at least, probably three. Hang on and enjoy the ride.

They do have some better WRs than we have and a lot of first round picks. So, I think they'll be able to get him more weapons.
But they would have to give up a lot of those 1st round picks as part of your "king's ransom" and they are horrible right now and if you put Dak's contract on their books they have no cap space either.

The idea that Dak should request a trade to better utilize his skill set is ridiculous. He was a big part of the problem yesterday and turned in one of his worst performances of his career. Sans a few drop backs he got pretty good protection, while the running game was effective when it was used. Yes coaching was awful yesterday, but Dak did less.

we should request our money back.

And do what with it? Jerry won't use it in FA. He had ample chances to get more WRs in during the offseason. He didn't do it. He should have known that Smith was going to get some injury this year as that's happened every year for at least a few weeks. He didn't plan for that.

Obvious points:

Dak played poorly. He always has a couple of missed throws, but yesterday he had at least 6 that I saw. And what did he NOT do? Play in the preseason. Now we see what that did.
Steele is bad.
Biadasz is mediocre.
Martin is on the downside of his career. Still very good, but not like he was in prior years.
Pollard can't block worth crap.
Moore's play calling is abysmal. And is getting worse.
Lamb can't get open, has poor hands. Needs #88 taken from him, he doesn't play well enough to have it.
Zeke will be wasted if he doesn't get more than 10 carries a game.
The rest of the division is better than Dallas, even the Giants. Maybe not by much, but winning the division, at this point, is a pipe dream.

Only one game, not saying they can't "right the ship". But many, many things need to improve, going to be very difficult...

Aaron Rodgers had a pretty crap game too yesterday. Why? Because he hasn't got weapons either. Dak's not in the same league as Rodgers, and I know that. However, Rodgers sucked yesterday against the Vikings.

Dak is nowhere in the ballpark of Aaron Rodgers. lol. Rodgers is a first ballot HOF QB who had a bad game but we know from history that is not the norm and he will bounce back and have GB in the playoffs contending. Dak, even prior to injury, gives us no chance to win anything but the putrid NFC East.

After what I saw last night I would say the team should ask for some money back. Maybe Dak should have taken a few live snaps in preseason.

I agree that Dak played poorly, and I'm not denying that. However, I'm also arguing that it didn't help that he had nowhere to go. If Rodgers, who had no weapons yesterday either, was going to struggle against the Vikings, then what makes us think Dak would do any better against the Bucs?

But that's my point! Rodgers had nowhere to go with it, so what made us think Dak would? I think Dak would, and he did well last year until his calf injury. The problem is, Jerry didn't give him weapons besides maybe Lamb, who can't catch.

Exactly, and it happens. Dak's not a below-tier QB as some have said. I think he's top 10-15. We can win with that, but Jerry didn't do nearly enough to help. And don't give me the contract argument as Dak's contract isn't terrible compared to other QBs. Also, it shouldn't be that difficult to get more WR weapons, especially when DJax and OBJ were available.

The team is run by men who don't look for problems let alone address them until it blows up their face. Any sober fan could see in March that WR and OL were going to be a problem this year if not addressed. Last nights performance was actually pretty predictable.

Rodgers will adapt and make those around him better. Dak has not the ability even when healthy.

I really hate to say this. I really do. However, Jerry deserves this, and, if Dak wants to salvage his career, I think he needs to go to a team whose owner actually cares about winning. He's not got weapons here. His contract, compared to other QBs really isn't all that bad, and there are teams who'd likely snap him up quickly. If he doesn't want to end up like Romo, he needs to really consider waiving his trade clause and going to a team like Seattle, who need a QB and would probably give us a king's ransom to get Dak. I'm NOT blaming Dak for yesterday. The loss is on Jerry, and, unfortunately, Jerry doesn't care. So, Dak should go to a team who does care and can build a roster.

RIGHT TO THE JETS!! DAK ISN'T GREAT as you're making him seem

I don't think it's entirely or even mostly the fault of Dak. Jerry have him next to nothing to work with.
Yeah but he has had plenty to work with in the past and hasnt gotten the job done. Those 3 games last year against the Cardinals, Broncos and 49ers are good examples of what happens to Dak when he is pressured. Sooner or later we have blame Dak! Jerry is a given but Dak was acting greedy and doesnt accept any blame for his part in these nasty losses and im sick of him coming out and running his mouth about all this stuff he has been working on to help his game. This year was a show me year. And he played exactly like I thought he would. I dont hate Dak the person I just hate Dak as the QB of this team. He plays just good enough so their never in the mix to draft a top QB. I guarantee if this team were to have a horrible rest of the year the owner would be dumb enough to squander a top 5 pick on probably an offensive lineman instead of a QB.

And that plays even more to my point. That's why I wrote this thread. Jerry doesn't care. So, Dak should go to a team who does.

And I do blame Dak, in part, for the debacle, and I wouldn't have a problem with us taking a QB. At the same time, this whole debacle was caused by Jerry.

That would be a dream come true

Maybe someone will give us a 7th round pick for him
