Maybe it had some issues, and he does not want to move from that land.

Maybe he wants a new updated smart home type of features. And a complete remodel not worth it to him.
Wants a different floor plan and features.
Who knows, and who cares.

The guy that remodeled my bathrooms, told me he had a client, that did a remodel on a bathroom and a kitchen. 6 months later decided they did not like it as they thought they would. So did another complete remodel.

Truth is none of us know what it's like to make $60M a year with over $200M in the bank already. Anyone saying they do is lying. We are getting upset cause he doesn't process things the way we do.
