Dak tells Pickens to bet on himself

good points made!!!

Those points have been made many times, but you've obviously chose to ignore real life facts to make the comments you've made.

Its amazing that our quarterback is expected to do things with a 32nd ranked defense on his team that even elite quarterbacks who are better than him CAN'T do.

Make that way of thinking make sense to us all....

Dak is still performing at a high level. He was good enough in every game last year to win except the road games at Chicago and Denver.
That's very true,

But remember even in those two games, you had players turning it over, like Williams, like inside the 10 yard line fumbles, and for a long stretch there were 2-3 games and I believe that Both those games, I know Denver for sure, The offensive line couldn't block at all, That was one of their worst games by the OL, lost CD like in the first half..

you can't ask a quarterback to play well in a game where he gets no blocking and his teammates are turning the ball over, and he has no defense.

So yeah, there was a couple offensive games that were not good and Prescott did not play well, that is very true ,but there are good reasons to why, that's why I mentioned the tackle play, all year was shaky,

but there was some games but they were letting two or three guys through at the snap like literally we're living on our side of line of scrimmage, and that's hard to play as a quarterback, when you almost have to immediately look down and move before you even get evaluate the defense, it's like Snap, boom, you're on the run as soon as the ball touches your hands...

And everything you've intelligently stated is absolutely true, you have no argument from me there.

But I noticed something that happened once again when talking about the 49ers playoff games.

In that first 49ers playoff game, the Cowboys committed a playoff record, 14 penalties. We committed that many penalties playing against a number one ranked 49ers defense. No team in NFL history has ever been able to win a playoff after committing 14 penalties. So I have two quick questions for you.....

1. If no other quarterback OR team in NFL history has ever won a playoff game after committing a league playoff record amount of penalties in a playoff game, why was Dak and/or the Dallas Cowboys expected to?

2. Why when people here bring up the Cowboys first 49ers playoff loss, they conveniently leave out the fact that we committed a league playoff record 14 penalties as if that didn't greatly affect the game and game plans?
Oh no doubt the penalties played a role. Niners also had 9 penalties for 58 yards, so it must've been one of those officiating crews that didn't "let them play." Here's why I think they lost that game:

1) 5/14 on 3rd down; couldn't extend drives
2) Dak's QBR 32.4, passer rating 69.3
3) Zeke led the team in 31 yards rushing
4) 4.4 yards per offensive play is just not going to cut it

I know Dallas gave up 172 yards rushing, but if you look closer, Elijah Mitchell had 27 carries 96 yards and averaged 3.6 YPC. Deebo's big running play came on that trick play for 26 yards, which came after a Dak INT, I believe.

I know that's right, I just need someone to explain WHY is the hold up, WHAT more does Jerry need to see
He likes playing chicken for some reason and must believe Pickens, will convince his Agent he wants to stay.

Convince himself that Jerry is rich, and i'm trying to get rich. Testing the market, I know what other teams value me at, WHY would I want to take less money!!

Jerry's hopping every team that needs a WR gets one in FA or the draft and their will be no one else left but us.

They're going to pay Pickens more than Lamb it is just a question of whether that happens this year or next year. If you don't think Dallas is going to pay him that, then you can't reasonably believe that a team is going to trade for him and give him even more lol.

His cap hit is already ~$9m more than CD.
Why wouldn’t another team not want to pay him more just because Dallas won’t? Dallas already has a #1 receiver and some other teams don’t.
