Mitch Trubisky was clutch right up the point of the double doink.

Aaron Rodgers is clutch but GB failed to make the tournament.

This is not basketball, no one signing nets you guaranteed playoff success.

Great teams combined with good luck in the injury dept
and the ball bouncing your way that day win Championships.

That Dak run on 3rd and 14 begs to differ with you.

Go through my past messages.. I've despised Dak.

But he is really improving. A lot. Sure, he's still inaccurate at time (and probably always will be).

He has that magical lightbulb in crunch time. I don't pretend to understand it, but it's there. Sure, it takes other guys too, but Dak is leading the charge

Probably cost us the game. 2nd and 1

Do I need to show the highlight of the pick Saturday.

Those 2 passes are the equivalent of the yips in golf!

2 playoff games - 2 picks

Romo - 6 playoff games - 2 picks and one was equivalent to a hail mary

It's survivor bias. Everyone remembers Prescott's clutch moments because it fits their narrative of him.

He wasn't so clutch when down by three to Commanders with under 5 minutes when he fumbled and the Commanders scored.

Cowboys lost 6 games this season. 4 of them by 8 points or less.

I DARE YOU to show the highlight of the pick Saturday!

Come on, you can do it! Show us how that was Dak's fault!

Go Dak!
He is faring well in the 4th quarter...just as (believe it or not) Romo did.
The numbers don't lie. Romo was outstanding it's just that some recall only the bad plays vs the 10x good ones.
.It's ironic that you guys throw up numbers as proof but ignore them when Romo is the subject.

I think Dak has done fine in his two playoff games so far. But lets be clear on the interceptions; he already has as many playoff picks in 2 games as Romo had in his whole career (and one of Romo's was a no choice throw it in the endzone , time is up thing)
Point is, the turnover comments about Romo are overblown.

No reason we can't pull for Dak and not bash Tony.

Amazing that this fan base can't seem to understand this conclusion. For some reason it's either one or the other. Let's "repeat" your very poignant statement. No reason we can't pull for Dak and not bash Tony. It's not that hard to understand is it? Let's stop trying to attack, divide and act like ignorant fans. Frankly, it's getting embarrassing.

So how was Noah Brown supposed to prevent that penalty. Does he snap the ball or ask for it to be snapped once he sits there for 1 second? Dak called him back in!
Honestly, Brown seemed to be moving a bit slowly, but IIRC, Dak had enough time to avoid the penalty.

So that means they aren’t capable of losing those games? More games played should mean he has the most losses too right?
Of course, it depends on the team around the QB as well. That's by far the #1 factor.

So you don't think it was a terrible pass?
Noah Brown was hit before the ball got to him! Even then, it hit him on his right upper chest area. Had he not gotten interfered before the ball got to him, it would have hit him right between the numbers.

I won't pretend to say that Dak is my favorite. I've given him a lot of grief this season. I don't think he's necessarily elite at anything and am not his biggest fan BUT anyone who can't admit that he's prime time/clutch player just isn't watching this guy. He's the guy you don't want to have a 8 foot putt to beat you. He might not shoot the greatest round of the day but if his partner needs a birdie out of him on 18th then the other team better start sweating.

I think one of the best ways to beat Dak is score TDs early and often. Get a 21 point lead on him going into the 3rd and I think you take away his best traits. Let him play in a 1 possession game and you are in a lot of trouble. If I'm the Rams I'm doing everything I can to make sure this game doesn't come down to the 4th quarter because if it does I think it heavily favors Dak and the Boys. Dak might not have elite skills at the QB position but when this team needs a big drive late in the game he has proved time and time again he's as elite as it gets.

I won't dispute that Dak needs to play more consistently across all 4 quarters. However, you can't draw the conclusion that Dak's 4Q performance of game-winning drives is the result of him "not taking care of business " for the first 3Q's from the data presented.

In fact, in another recent thread, the defensive points allowed were shown to have dropped off significantly in the 3rd and 4th quarters in 2018 (for the 4Q, Dallas's defense was ranked 26th in points allowed).

The conclusion one might draw from this is - Dak saved the defenses bacon in the 4Q. Personally, I don't necessarily believe that either. The truth is out there and it lies somewhere between these extremes.

One could also make the argument that by the 4Q the defense is getting tired from all the 3 and outs through the first 3Q...........

That's a big part of what was going on in 2017.

Yes it would have, because he stopped and adjusted. It wasn't a terrible pass, but it could have been better.

It hit him in the upper shoulder pad after he slowed down to get back to it. Don't be obtuse!

And how many times was Romo about to be pounded by a DL?

It's funny how Dak screws up and it's everyone else's fault, but Romo gets called a choker.

How about, as has been said, we recognize that it's okay to like both players?
I like both players. Just didn't like when Romo went Hollywood because of Jessica Simpson, but he's the one who chose and listened to her. By the time he was more focused, his body was already breaking down. Ugh.
