They lost to the Bucs of all teams with Jamis Winston or was it Fitzpatrick. And the Bucs are not good, it's overlooked because of the Saints being on a winning streak right now. They're one of my favorites to win the NFC Championship game but they are still beatable.

Why would a C student expect to ace the test?

It’s time for Cowboy fans to adjust their expectations with a dormant/ mediocre franchise. Hoping to win and expecting to lose is the mentality of a franchise like the Cowboys have become.

It’s really not that bad. Ask around to some of the other teams in the league who don’t ever sniff the Super Bowl.

The #2 defense at home in Minnesota needed the Miracle in Minneapolis to knock off the Saints last year or my money says they were in Super Bowl.

This looks like their redemption year. Brees on MVP pace and with home field will be toughest out in the league.

If we can play them close ( within 2 scores) I’ll be impressed and up my expectations for the playoffs in hope of a WC win.

I agree, if we can make the game a fight then it will really be huge for the mentality of the team a 14+ point loss could have impacts like the Atlanta game last year had to this team. I might have my homer glasses on, but I think we have a real shot in this game due to what our strengths are as they set up well against Nawlins

Yea, I’m not normally a moral victory type of fan but I have lowered my expectations with our franchise. Just a few weeks ago weren’t sure we’d win another game.

It’s difficult seeing that we can hang with Saints this year so a close game will be a moral victory building confidence moving forward but a 48-7 blowout like Egirls took could deflate us.
