Dak versus Mahomes

Wentz would have lit up his own team’s Jim Schwartz-led defense last night with the Cowboys roster, OL and rushing attack. It’s really not that difficult time for a QB exploit man coverage with one deep safety guys like Cooper isolated on island all game long, while your OL is owning the front four. Outside one drive, the third when Schwartz actually had Cox lined about against Martin once, Cox was pretty completely owned.

Kirk Cousins lit this defense up last week for 4 TDs, 1 INT, 21 for 29 and over 330 yards passing.

Atlanta got its only win against the Eagles. The Eagles are way more up and down with us. People complain about Marinelli, but Marinelli is bend down break, while the Eagles try and play aggressive an get TOs, while constantly giving up third down conversions and big plays.

Seriously? So if someone defends say Brady or any other QB, there a "homer" of THAT QB also? man your logic just doesn't compute. What I mean by defend him is from all the negative, hate, calling him a bus driver, a below average QB. First and foremost, ANY player, QB or other wise has to PROVE it on the field game day, period. IF Dak goes out and sucks it up, I'll call him out on it. So I guess if defending AND calling a player out for crap play makes me a homer.... whatever.

Since I put the stats together, I can't argue with the stats. I can only say that, after watching every pass and every int Dak has thrown this year, I know that not all int's are created equally. I can think of 4 picks (not including yesterday) that either had nothing to do with Dak or came on a long throw to the endzone at the end of a half/game that wouldn't have changed anything anyway.

Other QBs never have INTs on their record from dropped passes or fluke plays that aren't their fault. Only Dak. Got it.

Why? Mahomes had a great year last year. One plays with Andy Reid, who knows exactly how to develop QBs and get the best out of them. Dak plays with Garrett and Linehan (now a first year OC). People need to tap the brakes on the Mahomes hype. He has came down to earth big time this season.

There is nothing to dispute here, with the bottom 20 ranked Eagles defense, basically bottom 25 ranked pass defense, even worse as far as giving up passing TDS, that has been getting lit up this whole year, including by Kirk Cousins who threw for over 330 yards on 21 of 29 passing for 4 TDs and 1 INT, while I’m told by resident Dak homers Kirk sucks..

Mahomes is off of his TD pace from last season. He had 22 at this point in 2018.

D-Coordinators had a full off-season to study Mahomes in the KC offense after his huge season in 2018.

Dak was awful these last three games against primarily zone coverage.

And GB didn’t even bother going zone against Dak the second half, and they play more man, meaning they were more than content to defend him man while being that far up.
