Comparing these cap hits is pointless, Maholmes still has a richer contract along with another 9 QBs in the league. Blame Jerruh he's the one who restructured Dak's to be ballooned like this at the end and lock us into having no other options.

It’s just this upcoming year. If we do the big hit it means we haven’t extended, which seems to be what people who don’t like Dak want.

If we extend him, the cap hit comes down significantly. That would make those same folks mad.

I don't blame Dak for everything that goes wrong like a lot around here like to do but he does need to take a pay cut.

thats the funny thing, his yearly was down because the GM structured it this way thinking Dak would never see this lump sum hit...he would just extend him and lower the hit again..many here know this but its mor dramatic to start this thread..."Dont extend Dak, i want to make many threads about his huge cap hit because you didnt extend him..."..Mahomes is on a 10 year contract so his hits are as low as paying a QB 500 million could be...
