All but 11 teams got their QB from the 1st round or used a 1st rounder to get their QB. Of those 11, 3 were very high 2nd round picks. So essentially only 8 teams did not use a 1st round pick or really high 2nd to get their QB. That number includes us.

So we got a Mahomes wanna -be...

OMG. this again....and the cap gets changed every year. do you want to compare this year cap hit? last year and so on. first it was about average salaries, now its absolute numbers....

this is so stupid I don't know where to begin.

the cap, the contracts are market driven. doesn't have to do anything with anything. there are 15 QBs making aveage of $30M a year.there are 12 who make average of $40M a year. there is not 12 elite QBs in this league. end of story.

both contracts will get reworked as it has been done by every team. Murray has a 51M hit. he sucks. Watson has a 63M cap hit. seriously!!! what has he done.

this doesn't mean I am saying Dak is good......so don't get confused.

No, that is bridge play and means nothing about football. Post season has occurred for three straight seasons.

The difference is not on ability. It then is play of that team. Not talent factors alone. The Cowboys team is valid and know football. A small group of focus cause losses for three years. The team has been competitive. Buffalo did good, but failed on a faked 4th down punt and missed late 2 minute field goal attempt.

Is that also post season production you categorize Dallas as limited to? No, are team mistakes.

Wouldn't hurt this poster...it just isn't the worked for player payment way for today's NFL. Running backs get cut when older, and expensive. Quarterbacks are actually too team valuable. The NFL is built upon that single value, passing the ball. Expense reflects that....sorry, just the way it is.

San Francisco escaped by the skin of it's teeth against Green Bay and it's QB. Does that also show failure in Dak Prescott also? Or instead indicate process in the playoffs work more around game Prescott. Green Bay missed a field goal also and Love threw an interception....Dallas called out here again?
