You know, I just watched Slater's video, and all I really got out of it was that was the same old negotiation stuff by both sides. I don't think it was that informative. Too me, the headlines were juicier than the comments in full context.

The article said it was top 5, that means it was higher than 27 other QBs. And Dak wasn't performing in the top 5 QBs in the league in 2017, 2018 and 2019, not even close.

I like Dak but it's big time rose colored glasses to say he has been a top 5 QB in any year besides 2016.

Dak is getting some seriously bad advice. Right now the best move the Cowboys can make is non exclusive franchise tag. I feel Dak, and delusional Todd France, need to see how other teams would value Dak. Does the rest of the league feel he's right behind Mahomes. Probably not. Dak is rated the #1 free agent this offseason. That doesn't translate to second best player in league history.

Cousins wanted a huge payday but wasn't worth what he was asking. Which has proven itself out in MINNY. Right now, Dak is just a decent QB, bottom of the top 10 or so type. Overpaying him is NOT the answer. Time to move on.
