He played great tonight. Came up big and had big time clutch throws. He was a little off early, but he rebounded very well. Anyone else think Dak needs to be outside the pocket more? Seems like he's better when he's rolling out and throwing on the run.

What game were you watching? He was better in the second half, or late in the 3rd. But we need to start discussing what the hell is going on at the LOS, I have no idea why he's not changing plays, but it's getting Elliott killed.

This is short term memory due to getting a W. There are some serious freakin' problems in this game, we essentially went 6 quarters of terrible football, and I mean terrible. We had the lowest number of yards in a first half since 2005 - there are problems, and Dak is part of it.

I say we need to move Green to RT and Collins to LG. The experiment of switching them up is failing, that push in the middle in the run game isn't happening as much as we need it and the pass protection from the right is even worse than it was with Free.

Nice.. more hate on Dak. Brilliant :thumbdown:

Incredible game by Dak.....I don't think Linnehan is doing him any favor's especially in the first half. More misderection, more play action, to loosen up the D. Get creative with stacks and bunches, jet sweep... Finally got better play calling in the second. What a big bounce back game by Dak. Took care of the ball and understood the flow of the game. If we were to win tonight, Dak would have to beat 8 man fronts and he did which in turn gave Zeke some freedom. Excellent game Dak Prescott

Well said. Linehan needs to step up.

It's clear to me from these threads that some fans don't watch much football other than the Cowboys.

Aaron Rodgers had several bad throws yesterday. EVERY QB has bad throws/decisions in every game. There's a reason they don't complete 90+% of their passes.

This is one of those games where you show people who base opinions on stats.......stats say Palmer outplayed Dak. I'd disagree with that. This was one of Dak's better performances.

I think i've seen enough of Dak to know that he's at his best when he's moving around and being mobile. Having him just sit in the pocket........its not going to cut it. This is the same that hurt us when we had those backups out here like Weeden and Cassell. This offense is useless without the QB moving.

Are you kidding me? That throw to Butler was an absolute dime.

Not sure what some of these clowns were watching. Dak was extremely accurate tonight. This was a game that could have been lost with a devastating turnover. Instead Dak managed the game was extremely accurate on the move, and threw big time Dimes to break the game.

He is what he is. He is an athlete playing quarterback, not a pocket passer. The runs, the read option, the bootlegs are all things he does well.

He doesn't handle pressure in the pocket well so it needs to be avoided. He threw the ball straight in the dirt in those situations. He is not accurate from the pocket.

Good for our system but the system has to shake it up some times.

I agree! It's easy to jump on the bad start but he made the played when out mattered and that took some serious manhood.
