So Dak was our only problem last year? The same way that you can blame the receivers and the OC.

As you well know, this logic does not fit into certain so called fans' agenda and narrative. No explanation needed when its in Dak's original quote:
"They know where the hell to be, why to be and when they’re getting looked at."
If a playbook is too convoluted for a player to get the timing right every single time, something needs to change. Mis-timed routes leads to tips and INT's.
QBs dont get teams to SB's. Common misconception.None of this stuff matters if he doesn't lay an egg in SF.
Who cares if he throws 30 INTs as long as he wins and gets the team back to a super bowl. I personally don't think he has the talent or temperament to accomplish that but that's the standard. These nitpicking conversations scrutinizing his every word are simply the direct result of his previous failures.
McCarthy has been quoted on more than one occasion as not being a fan of so many option routes as was featured in Moore's offense. I think it came to a head this past season when they were forced to rely on so many less experienced receivers. Two rookie tight ends, a special teams guy with very little actual experience running routes in the offense, a couple of rookie WRs who could not shake coverage. It all added up to a lot more throws to covered receivers than in years past. I think that as much as anything is why Moore is in L.A. now. Well that and 5 wide empty backfield in the red zone.A little bit, but I took it more of a dig on Moore. Its like Moores offense was too confusing or open to too many options they werent on the same page. THIS offense is more well defined and MM is going a better job of making sure everyone knows where and why to be.
Is it not true? Does he not intentionally act this way.You called him out for insults then called him a clown......
The hypocrisy is great with this one.
Good leader. So he basically threw his wide receivers under the bus for the previous years.
No.So Dak was our only problem last year?
Right! This is getting up there with insinuating the refs deserved things thrown at them. This team as a whole is thin skinned. Need to pipe downAt this point he is just digging a deeper hole.
Someone text him and let him know it would be better to zip it.
Good. Now go follow another team since Dak is not going anywhere.Dak is dumb. Like airhead dumb.
Yep and there wasnt enough short underneath dumpoff stuff in the offense to the backs. Maybe just a Zeke leaking out.McCarthy has been quoted on more than one occasion as not being a fan of so many option routes as was featured in Moore's offense. Theres a lot of that here! You called him out for insults then called him a clown......

These examples are why I have been a proponent of changing how interceptions are automatically assigned solely on the quarterback for all levels of the sport. If anything, receivers should be given an extra standardize statistic for 'involved in interception'. Or the quarterback given an additional statistic for 'tipped/ricochet INTs'. Identifying all passes, as manufactured by the quarterback, that end up in the defense's hands is just lazy and incorrect statistical assignment.I can name two INTs, the one Ferguson had hit him in the chest and bounce in the air and the one Brown had hit him in the hands against Jacksonville that were perfect throws, hit the receiver right where the ball needed to be that turned into INTs ...
Let’s change the rules so Daks INT numbers don’t look THAT badThese examples are why I have been a proponent of changing how interceptions are automatically assigned solely on the quarterback for all levels of the sport. Stop... beating me... to the finish line BDC!
I don't really get how this keeps him relevant, or why he would think he needs that, or even what it is that works. His relevance is simply from being the QB of the Cowboys, and saying this doesn't somehow enhance that role or gain anything for him. All it does is get attention for a day or two, then it's gone, and will only resurface later if he and/or the team don't play well and he exceeds 10 INT's.It is how dak operates, he was a psyche major.
1. it gets attention, heck it came here.
2. he is saying he will be better this year, just doesnt say how he will do that. Better where int's are concerned, and he always had a thing about ints.
3. shows he is learning from jerry, throw something to the media, stay relevant !
4. Dak is always saying he will be better this season, or that it is time to win, sense of urgency this year, been saying stuff for almost a decade now.
and it works. Only a few will see thru it , so it is effective practice.
If you had been a member of this site (or another forum connected with a site that is not mentioned on CowboysZone) you would be aware I have posted on CowboysZone the exact same opinion before Tony Romo and Dak Prescott were ever in a Dallas Cowboys uniform. This fact will not matter to you. Continue on with your agenda.Let’s change the rules do Daks INT numbers don’t look THAT bad
Since he was discussing McCarthy's impact on the passing game, it might have been more pointing fingers at Kellen Moore.Blaming the receivers like a real leader.
What a joke.
So you think rules should be changed because loser QBs like Romo and Dak can’t protect the ball better? If you had been a member of this site (or another forum connected with a site that is not mentioned on CowboysZone) you would be aware I have posted on CowboysZone the exact same opinion before Tony Romo and Dak Prescott were ever in a Dallas Cowboys uniform.
