Just thought I'd start a new thread on what Dak actually said.

Sounds like he simply has confidence in his receivers...

So I just watched ESPN and they put up another quote that showed directly that he was blaming Moore's scheme and the receivers for some of the picks and problems.

Then goes on to point out that MM does a great job of making sure the receivers know where to be and what to do.

Blaming the guy for being honest is ridiculous, he literally was just pointing out why his interceptions went up last year and how they hope to have it corrected... he didn't throw anybody under the bus unless that's how you like to interpret it because you're trying to throw dak under the bus..hmm

hypocrisy at its best this place is full of it
He literally said “they”. That is people other than the self. As for who is to blame, I explained myself clearly enough in the previous post.

Spot on! :hammer:

Those complaining simply don't like him. They simply want to complain about anything Dak so it can please their anger. Funny how they never complained the many times Romo would talk to the media. In fact, they would support Romo's media talks, even when he would say something stupid. Can read these posters like a book. So predictable.

Ready......Set......Hut...Hut!
Delusional pathetic Assessment . . . at least you are consistent.

I don’t need to see 8 years, 2 HCs, and 3 OCs worth of a QB to be able to tell what they are and aren’t at this point.
We are just two different types of fans.

2 HC's, MM has already exceeded in 3 years, than what the previous HC in training did in 10 years. Really 2 years, as Dak broke his ankle in his 1st year. We seen how rest of that season went with back p QB's. Though if not for Andy Dalton's concussion, he may have won a few more games to get us into the playoffs. As the division was really bad. Would have gone nowhere in the playoffs most likely.

3 OC's, Garrett, Lineman, Moore. Dak (if one is a stat person) played very well (until his picks last season), so he shown h can produce with OC changes.
And with those 3 OC's, is not saying much. All too predictable.

You do realize the defenses sucked and gave the offense absolutely ZERO help until. DQ arrived? Still need a team surrounding any QB.
Sure Brady is the GOAT, and by no means a comparison, far from it. But you do realize Belichik had pretty dang good defense those years.

Thats how I took it too - either a knock on Moore or a vote of confidence in MM's play calling. Not on the receivers.
Most likely he meant it as a compliment for McCarthy, but of course, if you are going to compliment the current play-caller, that's going to slight the previous one.

So this logic only pertains to Dak? and you say you dont have an agenda?
If you want to talk about why the Pats should stick with Bledsoe instead of Brady do it on a Pats board.

If you want to talk about why the Chiefs are stupid for trading up for Mahomes when they have Smith do it on a Chiefs board.

This is a Cowboys board.

With all that said, do you know what his int to td ratio was his whole career before last season??? Or do we ignore the 5 years of low ints and just let one bad season speak for his whole career.....

I don't know what other fans do, but my eyes and many replays SHOW that all ints aren't all on the quarterbacks. That includes all quarterbacks.

Now in Dak's case, the film don't lie. All the interceptions were not his fault. I know that angers and triggers alot of the low IQ Dak hating crowd, but film don't lie.

Dak was responsible for alot of picks, but he wasn't responsible for them all. Again, no matter what people say, film don't lie.
We don't ignore dak's stats in the past...it's why we give him kudos for being an above average QB in the past.

Zeke used to be a GREAT running back! But that was in the past. We appreciate the past for what it was.....but make plans in the present day based off the way things are now, and what they will be.....not what they used to he.

Dak and Zeke were a really nice duo 4 or 5 years ago

Well I can see why you like Rush so much, according to his NFL winning percentage he's one of the best QB's in history.

Iam done talking to you, your logic is asinine.

Blaming the receivers like a real leader.

What a joke.
Yes sir if you don’t know by now a real leader will let his people know when they didn’t their job.
A person that’s not a leader will not take the fall for people that are letting their team down.
People need to really get an understanding of what a leader is and stop coming up with their own ideas.
The great QBs that you think of let their receivers know, right there on the sideline in front of cameras, Brady, Peyton, Brees, Aikman, Staubach

oh and @mattjames2010 MM has had a lot of success with Rich Gannon, Derek Brooks, and Aaron Rodgers. I am not sure "that type of quarterback" is supposed to mean but he has proven to be able to work with a diverse set of QBs to this point.
Uh yeah two QBs who could actually sling it and carry a team - so much so both were MVPs. Who is Derek Brooks?
