No McFly, he threw his OC under the bus. Can’t you read?So he basically threw his wide receivers under the bus for the previous years.

Point blankDak hasn’t been very accurate since his injury in 2021. He has thrown 25 interceptions in his last 24 games. Balls sail and are behind receivers more often than is acceptable.
He won’t fix it either because he seems hesitant to take responsibility.
No confusion. We all know what was meant. Winning without Dak is saying the same thing. This is not what he said and you are exaggerating to make a point
He said Rush proved Dak is not needed . . . We can win without Dak . . . where does the confusion lie?
I was comparing the amount money earned over their careers. The point was that just because a player makes money in a given market, doesn't make him a solid player. You literally just compared Dak to Sam Bradford lol….
And I am sure that you include "playoff wins" when you are pricing a home and just ignore the market. He has two years left on his deal and it is a pretty standard contract.Oh, I understand how markets work. I'm a real estate investor so I know all about ROI. He has not given a sufficient ROI. It's not just what the Cowboys are paying him, but HOW the contract is structured. The Cowboys have hitched their wagon to a declining player.
Film reviewed by Kurt Warner has proved receivers ran wrong routes, bad throws by Dak, and bad plays. Like I said before its not all on Dak.Only Dak has "Implied" (said) this. . . oh yeah His Jock Strap Supporters throw shade like this as well
Aaron. My badUh yeah two QBs who could actually sling it and carry a team - so much so both were MVPs. Who is Derek Brooks?
You were using it as an indictment, no one is claiming his contract makes him a better player.I was comparing the amount money earned over their careers. The point was that just because a player makes money in a given market, doesn't make him a solid player.

I have been researching this one for awhile at work and not getting anything done, lol. I *think* I have a good reply but I cannot confirm which San Francisco player dropped the easy touchdown interception. Does anyone have a clip of the drop so I can identify that player? Or anyone knows who that 49er was? Here is my question…a real one..not on a side. Let’s say they do this like they do errors in baseball and there is a criteria for Ints. Then how do you score ones the D drops? There were plenty of those for Dak. In fact right before one against SF, he threw the exact same route..badly..to a defender. I guess my thoughts are QBs can’t have it only one way.
and you will be here to whinge about it. Joy.You got that right, yet, they are going to pay him again! lmao
oh. Do not get me wrong. Nothing will stop criticism whether it is correct or incorrect. I only care that interceptions are properly designated.I get what you are proposing....but...i think we get too caught up in stats. How far are we gonna break them down.
I think dak should keep his comments more general in the public. I mean it wont matter what he says, hes gonna get criticized. But how about....
"We are working on better connections"
Or something like that?
Short, quick passes is where Dak was throwing ints late last year. That has nothing to do with playcalls and everything to do with a QB who has been figured out.Shorter quicker passes this year will help.
I think reasonable and informed fans would be able to tell really quickly if the dynamics he is talking about are actually in play. For one he is won't throw into coverage but also the receivers will be running more consistent routes and work better in tandem.Todd Archer should be commended for reporting the correction. An accurate quote is always best.
Unfortunately, a less cloudy crystal ball is still just a crystal ball. Team objectives are what the players strive for game-by-game. They should not be made fodder for talking sports heads and social media.
Plus, the correction does not lessen the spotlight on Prescott in this instance. Scrutiny will intensify. It shifts from 'Prescott said he would not throw ten interceptions this year and there's number ____' to 'wonder if Prescott will blame number ____ interception on himself or the receiver running the wrong route?'
That is also unfortunate since a percentage of interceptions are not the quarterback or receiver's fault. It is sometimes just the result of a defensive player making a great play.
I have been goofing off trying to address a very good question from @Miller and work at the same time to notice since I jumped back on the Zone. Just checked but did not see any additional quoted replies from the member in question. Keep that fifth of Johnnie Walker Blue Label handy just in case.Drinking Game . . . Take a Shot every time this guy writes "AGENDA"
Discussions would always be nice-and-tidy if everyone looked at things the exact same way.I think reasonable and informed fans would be able to tell really quickly if the dynamics he is talking about are actually in play. For one he is won't throw into coverage but also the receivers will be running more consistent routes and work better in tandem.
If that happens the results will be evident. There will always be people missing the forest for a tree but those will be the same people who were going to do it anyway.
My bad..I got the games confused. It was last game of season vs Commanders. Here is the play and they reference the drop in the telecast. Same guy dropped it and then he got this one. So that was my question in the equation. Does the drop count in the formula?I have been researching this one for awhile at work and not getting anything done, lol. Edit..here they are
