My guess is the new system is designed like the 2016 system. Some say it was dumbed down but it’s just a system to have multiple targets to make more defenders have to cover. Allows to get the ball out fast for a new QB. The KISS method.

Problem they will need to address is in 2016 we had a dominate O-Line and awesome RB or running game to lean on. In 2016 we still had a OC that would abandon the run.

Going into this season we will have good WRs and TEs. Dak has become very good at burning the blitz. He will need to tuck and run when needed. IMO our season will come down to needing a run game. A very good run game. Whether by committee or a bell cow. If we had a new Elliot type RB we would be very hard to beat. But Pollard hasn’t even shown he can be as effective as before after injury and if he is he still is a 12 carry a game back.

In this system the RB will need to be able to block on certain plays or pick up the blitz. If Elliot is healed up and available very cheap then I would take him back. We do have a bruiser and a fast back but can the translate to the NFL. It’s a gamble.

If it works and our Defense is gonna be as good as we think with the addition of DT strength then we will eat teams up. Just shore up the kicking and ST game. We put together a solid team and watch out in the playoffs. We may be able to make it past the first round. It’s set up to make Dak drive the bus.

Dak threw 17 picks in 14 games last season. If he had played all our games last season he was on pace for a 23 or 24 interception season.

He may not throw 10 picks but it will be because he misses a large portion of the season. 10-15 picks over the entire season isn’t bad if he throws 30+ TD’s.

Be totally fair. If you're going to bring up how Micah would have had another 5 sacks if he wasn't held, do the same for Dak. Mike Martz broke it down and said 8 of those 17 total interceptions were not on Dak. That means only 9 were Dak's fault. Do you agree?
I'm always fair. I haven't watched Martz breakdown but first reaction is that I would be hard pressed to believe that Dak had no culpability in 8 of them. Primary reason is that there were several that people were trying to blame on the receiver but Dak had direct line of sight that defender was in position but still chose to throw. Regardless of whether receiver ran a good route or if D did an excellent job, Dak still had final decision & chose poorly.

I've answered your question. Go answer mine about whether Micah or Dak is more trustworthy in backing up their comments.

"It stinks," he admitted. "... I've got to get better at it. This won't continue. ... I've been having to get back up all my life."

Was said after Washington game as well.
selective memory affects a subset of this forum.

Since you seem to have a good memory, how many times has Micah had address his poor play in the post game intereviews? I'm pretty sure it has been rare if ever but some of our most verbal posters seem to think it's as many as Prescott.

Wait 2 things here.. Micah will never answer the media as much as Dak so there is that... second Micah has been in the NFL 2 years compared to Dak 7 so theres that.... NO PLAYER on this team should boast about anything, they should all go out and dis prove the stigma they have created the last 2 years..ALL OF THEM including the coaches...Literally i want to hear Nuke Laroush's bull durham first pro interview until they go out and win a NFCCG..

I have not seen either of you answer my two direct questions. If I have overlooked a direct answer to those questions, please point me to them.

There is not ONE single player in this organization over the last 28 years that should be allowed to boast about anything..including Micah, if you believe they should prove it and shut up that goes for everyone on the team... they all walked off the field with a lose in SF.
Who’s boasting?

But Micah has said some things. Some even outlandish about being able to outrun speedsters who are significantly smaller, but I'll be darned if he doesn't back it up. I give people the opportunity to earn my trust. So far Micah has. Dak hasn't backed up his words. That's just facts.
