Emphasis to whom? McCarthy's quarterbacks? Or to the public via his quarterbacks' statements to the press? I would hope McCarthy was entrusting and emphasizing personal goals for his players to personally thrive for--not goals for everyone to know and hold his players accountable for achieving.
Grbac and Gannon specifically.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ wake up PAPPY it's 3rd and 8 and Dak threw a 3-yard Check-down.
Ya we've seen as you state DINK and DUNK Dak plenty....................ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Did the receiver have to get full extension or pick it off his feet on the 3 yard pass?

Sam Bradford was the first pick in the draft and that’s why he got big money. A big part why rookie QBs don’t get paid what they use to is because guys like him sucked.
Bradford made $130 million for his career, and his rookie contract was $78 million with $50 million guaranteed (I didn’t care that much to look how much he earned in total from it).

do you consider Sam Bradford and Dak on the same level?
No. Bradford never started a playoff game. The point was that just because you make a great amount of money throughout your career doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve lived up to that salary; I’d put Dak and Bradford close together in that regard. Poor return on investments.

Lol yes because we are all hoping for individual awards this year? I'm hoping for the main team award you may wish for whatever you like.
You are consistent in your deflection of the question at hand. We understand why.

Handwaving at an outcome from before the rookie scale was put in place is a pretty good indication that they are not fairly comparable.

Did Dak even make $5m on his rookie deal?

BTW, Dak has had two 16 game seasons with less than 10 picks already. He has had two others at 10 and 11 respectively.

This is not really all that bold a of claim.

There is not ONE single player in this organization over the last 28 years that should be allowed to boast about anything..including Micah, if you believe they should prove it and shut up that goes for everyone on the team... they all walked off the field with a lose in SF.
Why Not not one of them were around for 28 years ? Ware can't talk ? Jason Witten ? Tony Romo ? Dez Bryant ? Demarco Murray ? None of themm can Talk ? You must lead a very quiet existence. Congratulations

An arm punt can be better than an interception and worth the risk of a huge completion. No need to make any predictions regarding interceptions unless insecure in oneself. Prescott focusing on stat padding again.

Over half was dedicated to his rookie deal. You take that out he’s still overpaid.

I think Mike is a firm believer in that old adage "loose lips sinks ships". Heck he'd probably hesitate if you asked him what car he drives.

Aikman is the only one in recent decades that didn’t annoy me in the PCs.

Quincy Carter always told us what a leader should do.
Tony Romo would get all mopey.
And Dak Prescott, the Matt Hasselbeck of press conferences. Loves his empty public declarations.

I almost feel for Dak. The amount of scrutiny that comes with being the Cowboys QB is out of control. I have my opinions of him (solid WB/overachiever, but still not as good as his loyal fans claim he is), but he has to put up with more than most

It was really stupid of him to come out with a declaration regarding his INT total…but it could be the pressure has gotten to him a bit. He felt he had to make a prediction. Silly…but it’s done…

The problem wit that is that he may become too risk averse.

Then again, this is one of the best 1-2-3 WR combos we've had in 20 years....
Vet Lamb, vet Cooks, rebounding Gallup.....not bad

Maybe Vet Cooper, very young Lamb, and very young Gallup was as good

Either way, it's a good group
Hard to imagine him not having a rebound year

Exactly, unless he's talking about having more confidence in his receivers, then I'm not so sure I like this tone from Dak. I would like for less interceptions, sure. The issue though is that we don't need him to hide in a shell. Trust the receivers to do their jobs. If they mess up and it's intercepted, it'll be easy to see. To quote Parcells and Sean Payton, just do your job, Dak.
