I wish we had the answers. It’s so perplexing. It truly is. He looked so so so great to begin the season, and now this drastic downhill slide. I wouldn’t think a calf injury could make him forget how to set his feet and read defenses. Whatever the reason, it’s very concerning

I mean, that has to be it, right? Can we get Dak or even the Cowboys organization to admit that?

Perhaps he needs to sit? What good is a playoff berth with a broken Dak Prescott?

OR --> is it not just the injury, but the way defenses are scheming? Doesn't help that Zeke and the running game (sans Pollard) aren't the same as they were earlier in the year.

Bottom line is Dak is struggling. Glad it's coming out in the open right now. Let's see what he intends to do about it...

9-4 and you morons want to sit the starting QB.

I don't know if that's the reason but he's definitely not playing like he did early in the season.

Whatever it is, he needs to figure it out soon. Defense saved the day today.

Whatever the reason, he’s not playing well. No sugarcoating that.

I can’t say that because he looked fine in the Falcons game…..

I love Dak, but he’s not playing good football right now. Not blaming anyone else for that.

I’m still not worried about it because I think it’s just a matter of time before he gets his mojo back.

Stack wins and play at your best when it really counts.

We won. I’m happy.
:starspin:

Yeah I feel the same but until he does get his rhythm back it’s very worrying.
Our running game is also a big issue, it’s almost not existent.

It’s a combination of factors going on IMO. Today he stunk up the joint. He was terrible.

Having said that, the question that has to be answered is what is the problem regarding the massive gulf between the first six games this year before Dak got hurt when we looked unstoppable and the way we’ve looked post-calf injury to Dak?

Well, it’s not rocket science to think the calf injury is affecting his abysmal accuracy since he came back into the lineup.

Also, and this needs to be stressed I think, it’s very, very plausible that the league is adjusting to Moore’s schemes. Now Moore and MM have to adjust to the adjustments they are seeing on the field, instead of still trying to create the same splash plays that aren’t there like they were earlier.

The OL has been an absolute mess regarding pass blocking as well because of injuries, especially to Tyron who went out again today.

It’s not just one thing.

I'm not blaming any injury anymore. A lot of these errors are mental. He hasn't been able to respond to the ongoing chess match required of a high-level QB. The Broncos laid the blueprint and he hasn't been able to recover since (same with Kellen). The Dak/Kellen combo has peaked

Dak just isn't processing the game at a high level anymore

100% agree. He’s complacent and runs scared. Mediocre at best. 25 years and counting.
