Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

Being a Dak critic I was so hyped when he through that bullet in the 4th qtr for a first down but nullified by a holding call. THATs what I want in a Cowboys Qb. He was confident and threw that pass on a rope. If he could just do this with more consistency I would be pleased to no end. The running of course was very effective and perhaps this is his stronger suit.

This is what I was saying last week. THAT is his game.

Dak was doing that from the beginning of the game..He bogged after the first qtr but alot of ropes yesterday!

SHABAZZ Elliot had maybe one good run in the first qtr, then they struggled with a 10-0 lead until the forth. ELLIOT ran awesome along with Dak on that closing drive..Ugly in between.

They have been, the oline is dealing with there dancing in the middle..These defenses have earned there money suppressing the run game with the guys in the middle.Zone concepts actually start @Lg and the center, with the cut back like a book unfolding..get too much penetration at the guard center gap, elliot doesnt get off.. He ran hard either way yesterday..

Yes, and I'm not concerned about a lot of the miscues yesterday. Miscues can happen when you have new players, and they are expected. It just means that they need more practice.

I know... it's only a feeling that most GMs in the NFL have. Truth be told that your feeling that what I stated has "zero logic", is merely a feeling that has zero logic.

It's a childish game, but you started it. :p

Not really i was clear in my assessment..I thought clarity would sharpen your understanding. LOL..z

He played well enough to win the game given the way the defense was playing. Style points mean nothing.

Also, not getting behind early helped.

OUR defense controlled the giants offense but true the quick start and the relentless pressure on Eli was the difference..Dak definitely more confident and in charge..However, like i said earlier this offense needs efficiency and a solid consistent run game..We havent seen that except for the one drive in the forth yesterday..It closed the Giants..That is what you hanmer away at in the first three...Id like to be able to breath between kick off and the forth!

I WAS shocked linehan kept doing it..Not because they cant complete but because he was sending a message..Dont stumble we will duet again..Hell if im feeling froggy in the rungame ill run t three times in a row..Linehan gets cute sometimes or has last season. UNTIL he feels confident and the offensive players are secure in their assignments its going to be ugly sometimes..Its positive this week!

I think he looked confident and poised as he does did in his first 24 starts. That might be the most important strength of his game.

Yeah kind of like when The Giants kept going for it..Shurmer let Eli take a few good ones there..Lol

We see..We better start seeing a nasty time consuming Rg. THAT really solves it!

You realize the guy in your avi was the original scrambler right?
He wasn't a pocket passer; thus his nickname, Roger the Dodger. Neither was Romo.
Troy was really the only classic pocket passer we had succeed here.
And he did that with arguably the best collection of talent in the history of the NFL.

Yes or practice period! NOT MUCH if any in preseason..

Staubach was a scrambler and a creator, when nothing was open, but he could also throw consistently from the pocket. He was not in the mold of a QB like Dak.

He did enough to win. Would like to see him play better than that but if he's still pulling out victories with that kind of play, I'll take it every time.
